Raging Bull is better than most B&M hyper coasters.

I think the last screen looks fantastic!

I actually appreciate this coaster because it shows the floorless coaster as almost a prototype. I think it's perfect for the first ever Floorless coaster. When you looks at B&M's first, none of them except Medusa, were very grandiose, large coasters. Lets look at their 'first' for example-

First Inverted- BTR (nothing big here at all like Raptor, Alpengeist, or Montu)
First Stand-Up- Iron Wolf (again a very small compact ride and nothing sprawling like Mantis, Riddlers Revenge, or Chang)
First Dive Machine- Oblivion (again single drop, nothing fancy like Sheikra or Griffon)
First Flyer- Air (nothing special in terms of size)

Even B&M's first mega coasters Apollo's Chariot & Raging Bull are significantly smaller than their newer mega coasters.

    ...You get the idea.

I will say I am not a big fan of some of some of the transitions on this coaster, and I am still waiting for a coaster boom at this park with a few multi-coaster years.

I will also say that it took me a moment to realize that last screen was not real.

Think of B&M's first hypercoaster, Raging Bull. Does it look ANYTHING like B&M's other hypercoasters?

Yes, but what is being forgotton here is that this wasnt a prototype, it was simply a change of trains. There is no change in track type etc between the sit-down and the floorless. Medusa could easily be either with a switch of trains, Medusa isn't a prototype, it is the same model as the sit-down, just with different trains.
This is also partly my point, there is no need for a small prototype model for this as, explained above, a protoype isnt needed.

i actually really like the layout

I like the parts of the layout I love it until you get the straight that goes through the loop. It looks forced, and doesn't flow. And that turn after the sraight out the loop its hidous! Sorry. Can't you alter that bit whole bit (the straight and the turn)? It would be lovely other wise. The name doesn't suit any part of the ride, it doesn't suit the colours and the ride itself but mostly importantly it doesn't suit any SF park, sorry.

But I still do really like it! Love the editing style you've done to make it look like concept art! :)

I really like the Lay-out! The smaller B&M's are the better ones, i have done both the smaller B&M's trough out Europe and some larger ones in Orlando. And i liked the smaller ones a lot better. Just because it had more of a thrill because things follow up faster.

And that is just one thing this coaster does! With a little fantasy i could see this build in a real park with a few smoothness changes. But that's just RCT3...

the layout looks cool and i think that is all that matters.

    Whoop, I got it right!

It is harder for you to not have gotten it right since you named seven potential additions.
About the coaster. I love its placement and all, but the layout doesn't appeal to me either.

Louis, what's with your shitty attitude lately, man? Every recent post I've seen from you is like you have nothing nice to say.

I think it's looking great, coasterdude. Its not realistic? Who cares? He's creating his own history and I find it convincing enough to make me a believer.
  • yocoaster%s's Photo
Like I said before, the layout is pretty interesting.
True it isn't as mind-blowing chock full of inversions as it's real-life counterparts, but think about it, it's a first!

Look at where stand up Beemer's started out...Iron Wolf only has a loop and a corkscrew, and not much else. Yet it's still considered a showcase first of it's kind. And later rides like Chang, mantis and RR have ton's of inversions!

This also relates to this particular storyline! you start out with the Undertaker, the first floorless with only a loop, corkscrew, and two cutback turns, then as the years progress, in comes Medusa, and Superman, etc!

it also think's outside the box, which seems pretty realistic to me, especially in the coaster world! Cuz when you think about it, people in the late 90's are not worrying about it not having an unrealistic layout or it not being mega-tall (just like Iron Wolf and BTR weren't mega tall or didn't have common layout for there time period), there more shocked at the fact that it's floorless!

So in conclusion, this was a great addition to SFSC.

CD5 if you are epic enough to CREATE HISTORY, then nothing stands in your way in this park. I have hella respect for you coasterdude5.

I was waiting for his response :p

Anyway, looks like a good addition, tho i see why the layout has caused some controversy. Not 100% realistic when it comes to floorless coasters, but with it being the first ever, I think the layout is fine.

Why are people so damn nitpicky about footprints and all that gay shit? BE CREATIVE! BE ORIGINAL!! Thats why I decided not to play No Limits anymore, the entire community was all nitpicky about forces and pumps!
  • Louis!%s's Photo
^to be fair in a game like No Limits, you do need to take forces into account, and a pumpy track isn't a nice 'ride experience'.
  • coasterdude5%s's Photo
I expected people would have varying opinions about the ride - it's something different. People don't like different. I'm very pleased with the ride, which is uncommon for me. So for now, everyone will have to live with Undertaker - the weird floorless coaster.

SFSC will (hopefully) have many years to come filled with cookie-cutter coasters. I wanted to give the park one unique ride before Premier starts running the show (which happens in 1998).
