18th Season
Welcome to the official summer season! It's that time of year when the weather gets hotter and the days get even longer!
With the park's newest attractions being built seemingly everywhere but within Gardenhill Pass, it's not surprising that the area is empty.
Waiting for the Derecho train to return to the station...
It's nice to see the sun out! Today's the first day I've been to the park this season where it hasn't been raining!
I got some lunch at the Salt Water Cafe before riding a few more rides.
The line for Scooby Doo seems to even out later in the day.
I figured I would treat my stomach to a ride on Vortex before departing.
Bad idea!

Tidal Wave was closed today.
No word on why it was closed for the entire day.
Scooby Doo has really brought new life to the Main Street area.
I think this area is good to go for a few years.
The Greenway Cafe
Today was a good day!

WOW dude I read this topic from beginning to end and you are just AMAZING! I was definitely entertained, from the comings and goings of rides and attractions, to the realism, and even the ppl on here brought me laughs! It's HILARIOUS how everybody gets on fraroc to the sarcasm of Louis and Dark Horse among others, this was deff the best topic I read on here so far, and I look forward to more updates in the near future! -

18th Season
It's been a couple of weeks since I last visited the park. I've heard that the crowds have been especially heavy this summer. With another popular brand, Scooby Doo, being added to the park's lineup of attractions, families are really starting to flock to Six Flags South Carolina. Which is, of course, a great thing!
I guess I should start the day off on a somber note - I was told by a "source" that Parachute Falls' days are numbered. I was told that the attraction would be removed within the next 3 years. With that being said, be sure to get your rides in now!
Derecho was closed for most of the morning. I was told the ride was experiencing "technical difficulties."
Roadrunner Express is a hit with the families as well as the new Scooby Doo attraction.
Time to go take a spin on "The Batman."
The line was pretty lengthy.
I was told lights will be installed on the lifthill later this week. It will be interesting to see how they look!
I was also told to watch this area for next year's expansion.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I'm going to enjoy a ride on Washout to end a great day at the park! See you again soon!

I'm still surprised that it managed to survive the hurricane. -

18th Season
The park is moving right along through this hot summer month of July. It seems the park is always packed, even during the middle of the week!
I asked Joseph Reynolds and he told me one Charleston Gardens logo was intentionally left to pay tribute to the park in its original form.
I think this will be the area to watch for next season.
I believe Batman is my favorite ride at the park.
But I still love the park's other coasters as well!
Have a great evening!

18th Season
It's late July and we're headed towards construction time! Little is known about next year's expansion but it looks like it will feed off from the Gotham Backlot area.
Land clearing has begun in the area behind the fence.
Will we see a new area?
Will we see a new rollercoaster?
I don't think it's likely that we would see another dark ride.
I guess we'll learn what Six Flags has "cookin" in a few weeks!

A few weeks of time in the park, which in real life would be like 2 days maybe. -

August is here and I was told that the announcement for next year's attractions will be made tomorrow! I'm very excited to hear what kind of "insanity" Six Flags is preparing for us!
The lines were quite lengthy today. I waited over an hour for Batman!
But, as always, it was well worth the wait.
Happy riders depart the Batman station.
Roadrunner Express had a line, as well!
I'll see you tomorrow for the big announcement! -

I feel like SF would have installed more coasters than just the 1 in their first 3 seasons of control over the park. I know when they took over Geauga Lake they built 5 new coasters in the first 2 seasons of control over the park. -

I thinks he's waiting for the boomerang CFR to come out to add one of those, cuz basically what did six flags add to those parks? cheap coasters... in belgium they added an SLC and a Boomerang when they took over. -

inVersed, we haven't quite gotten to the Premier era of Six Flags. That was the time where 3-5 coasters were added in just a few years. Don't worry, that time will come. Hopefully. -
