I don't think a thrill ride would actually look good there. It's too much of a calming area to have it's atmosphere destroyed with a high thrill ride. Something gentler would be more fitting.

Too late, the calm atmosphere has been ruined.

^Not at all man. Dorney Park's Enterprise is right next to Camp Snoopy and a game midway. I think it's a great addition.

Yeah but isnt Camp Snoopy a kid's area and Game Midways are generally busy/noisy, so that is situated fine.

Whereas this is in a calm, quiet area. I thought it was put in to give guests a break from the rides/not so calming areas. And now a ride has been placed in it.

EDIT: Sorry I think i'm being stupid now, it's not being placed where I thought it was. Still I think the area it's being placed in is still a bit calm for a big thrill ride to be placed. Oh well.

I rally don't think it matters, most rides in a park are very noisy and can be heard from quite far anyway. For example at dreamworld the main eatery and seats is very close to the runaway repter roller coaster and you can hear it when eating, but i like the sounds anyway

Yeah but that's different still as I guess that eatery is in a noisy place. Oh I don't know lol. I just thought it didn't seem all that fitting to be placed there.

Although looking at it again, you have got the woodie at the back so that's noisy enough, so it wouldn't make a difference. I overlooked that.

Nice to see something new for a change though CD5, and that enterprise is beautifully framed by the trees.

I never said you hadn't contrubuted to the topic, I was merely saying that there was no reason to tell me to calm down as I hadnt said anything. I just said to fraroc to get out of the topic if he isn't going to contribute anything decent. Which you and goliath went and did later.
Thats why I said to you that if you're telling me to relax then tell yourself to relax as you said to fraroc exactly what I said to him, but in a slightly 'nicer' way. So next time, don't tell me to relax when I don't need to and we wont have all this hastle in someone elses topic.

Wow, it's hard to believe that the park is 12 years old! With the addition of Vortex, we continue our pursuit to become the premier destination for family entertainment!

Vortex is set back in the trees - we did not want to destroy the peacefulness of Gardenhill Pass.


Two stone lion statues were donated to the park from a nearby city park.

I really, really like the landscaping in the first picture.

Setting the ride back in the trees is still going to destroy the peacefulness. It's not the sight that ruins the peacefulness, it's the noise.
