^ It just needs a train station over the ticketing area, and it could be a decent second.
I really like the first screen. There's just something fun about it. -

To be honest, I never download your parks. I couldn't view them if I did, but I enjoy the photo-blogging, as it were, more than the park itself most of the time. -

I know this is unprecedented, but can we honor this park with an accolade going off of solely the pictures. I mean certainly the quality is there (I'd put this on par with a gold in RCT2 or LL), and the fact that it is RCT3 makes this a "special case". -

^I would still be opposed to that. Reason being there are SO many amazing parks on atari and other sites (I know, i spent around a year there before discovering rct2 and ne.) If we start giving out accolades based on rct3 pictures, there could be an influx of more rct3 parks and I personally don't want that to happen, and I sort of hope other people here don't want that too.
Less cynically, I also think that the panel should have to download the parks to be allowed to vote on it. -

I think if we started doing RCT3 accolades, the bar would have to be set incredibly high in order to make up for RCT3's graphics and camera capabilities. As you've probably already noticed, a screen that would be mildly interesting in RCT2 can be made exponentially better by adjusting to a more dynamic camera angle.
Truth be told, were probably all being suckered into loving this park based on flashy camera angles and cool Photoshop effects, when in reality, this is nothing more than a half-assed project that CD5 slaps together in his free time. But God damn, if it isn't totally freakin' awesome! -

Who cares? It still looks amazing, and I have a great timelooking at it. If it actually really doesnt look good CD5 would have made millions of dollars being a conman and would'nt even want to screw around with us also-I havent been around here long but I agree we should keep the accolades for 1 & 2 only. It just seems right.
Oh BTW-this thread has more views than the population of where I live. Figured that would be an interesting statistic for you to take in. -

It's kinda true, though. When you look at the overview and see how much content there actually is in the park, and then see that there's 25 pages of pictures.... Most of the pictures are of the same buildings and rides. You couldn't do that with rct1 or 2.
It's not a bad thing as they're really good pictures, but still, I don't think you could justify giving someone an NE accolade for their virtual photography skills. -

Please stop trying to put people in a negative light. ^^Edited by Alpengeistfan1, 07 January 2010 - 05:32 PM.

And that is why I rarely look at this topic. I don't want to see 25 pages of the same things. I want to see something new. -

I'm not sure I would call this "half-assed". While I do enjoy creating RCT3 parks it is work and I put hours upon hours sometimes into making sure it looks the best that I can make it. I might not be as attentive to detail as some of RCT3 masters, but I do strive to create and enjoyable and visually interesting story. I edit my photos to give you the sense of the time period that the story is taking place in, not to cover up the flaws that the park has.I think if we started doing RCT3 accolades, the bar would have to be set incredibly high in order to make up for RCT3's graphics and camera capabilities. I agree. FullMetal should go F*ck himself for what he said, that was just plain uncalled for.I'm not sure I would call this "half-assed". ^ I probably should have put what I said in [sarcasm] tags, but even then you wouldn't understand.
EDIT: Come to think of it, I'd take that as a compliment. To just throw something together and still have it be adored is really something to be proud of. It's like winning a race without even trying. Although that can be kind of a downer if you're someone like me who loves a challenge.
Sorry if I offended you in anyway, CD5. I really enjoy the park, and I look forward to the coming seasons. -

Something looks different around Gardenhill Pass!
What could we fit in there...
CD5's newest movie, Beyond Pixelation, premieres on Tuesday! -

Well, it's too small for a coaster. I really have no idea what you could put in there. -

I don't think a thrill ride would actually look good there. It's too much of a calming area to have it's atmosphere destroyed with a high thrill ride. Something gentler would be more fitting.
