Sorry guys, I've been rushing for a fraternity all week. College is taking up a lot of my time, but I'm trying to keep the updates going as steady as possible.

    Hello!

It's the later part of the season... these hot sticky late-July days seem to be the longest of the year. The guests are cranky as are the employees. But thankfully we have some activity going on in the park that's keeping everyone on their toes.

Ah, that's better. This large plot of land will soon be home to a rather large attraction.

Unfortunately we will be removing these restroom facilities to make way for the ride's entrance.

    Stay tuned!

Better not be a coaster. He just added one. I say river rapids ride! Or a flat. One of the two.

Here is the first official trip report of CGAP!

Me and my roomate were so exited about going to Charelston Gardens Amusment Park tommorrow! However, the radio called for thunderstorming all day tommorrow but we decided that the weatherman can be wrong, so we went to bed. The next day at 10:00 AM the sun was shining! not a cloud in the sky! THIS IS GREAT!!!!! We hit the road and about 18 minutes of driving, we saw the beautiful park come up from over the horizon! we paid for our tickets and entered the park. The first ride was Carolina Calamity. We waited 10 minutes and got the front car. After that we went on again and went on the back car. My roomate wanted to go on the Monster Mash Hotel, but I wanted to ride some rides. So we did both! Then we went to Derecho and it was a long wait but the ride was worth it and then, there was no wait at all! so we hopped on and off Derecho a couple of times. Next was Parachute Falls which presented a panoramic view of Derecho even though our backs were against the rest of the park. After that, we decided "What the fuck are we waiting for? we need to ride HeatWave!" we then ran towards it, expecting this huge line. But guess what, NO LINE it was a Walk-on! I guess so many people are intimidated because it goes upside down. we made a mad dash to the front car. We were just waiting for a 3-2-1 but. Suddenly a ride op walked into the control room and then without warning, POW! we launch 0-54 mph in 1 second and we just went up this big-ass loop and then we went through the whole thing backwards and went right through the station through another spire and that was it, HeatWave is my new favorite rollercoaster!! We went to the Great Swings and we were the only ones on! We went back to Derecho and we had to wait about 30 minutes but it was worth it! I said "The park must be filling up, we need to go back on HeatWave one more time" we went over to the ride and there was No one on line, ALLRIGHT!!! then we heard somthing heartbreaking, the PA system said "HeatWave is closed right now due to mechanical difficulties" Oh well, we got off line and went to ride Sky Wheel, it was closed too! What the Fuck?, so we headed back to Carolina Calamity for the 3rd time. then Sky Wheel was open and we went on that. We headed to the Indigo Plunge because it was really hot. We got nice and wet. We headed back to HeatWave just to have a ride operater tell us that Unfortunatly, HeatWave's problems got worse and it will be closed for the rest of the day. DAMN! So for the fourth time, we went on Carolina Calamity. We were so shocked that it did not rain one bit! not even a CLOUD! we then said " Lets go back home." we sure did have a lot of fun!!!!!! We pulled out of the parking lot and it decided to POUR!!!! It just started thunderstorming and the wind was blowing and there was lightning! But just 20 minutes later, IT STOPPED!!!!

We had a good time, I cant wait to go back! Mabye next year when theres a new ride (hint to CD5)
