Four captains for 57 members signed up so far? How many teams have there been in the past?

There were 6 in H2H4 and 3?

So i'll assume that was the same in the rest?

Yeah, I think we need two more captains. H2H3 and all the H2H's had 6 teams with 10 players.

Alright, cause I posted on page three or so that, if need be, I'll be a playing captain...

Hmmmm... 6 teams almost doesn't work... at least how the draft is right now. We have enough possible captains I think... but we are still a few short of 60 and then there are no replacements.

Sign up please!

It's barely been 24 hours, give it a few more days. Also we only need 54 players and 6 playing captains to have a "normal" H2H season. I think once the sign-up list hits 65-70 we'll be good to move onto the draft, but the more the better.

Metro's idea seems the best first (btw glad to see you in H2h).

I'm agreed on both fronts (Metropole in H2H and the benches). Making a bench can be a pain, so having a few standard ones would be nice, but I think we should still allow for the possibility of custom objects, as they can be very handy.

And I should warn the captains that I don't have as much time as I once did (otherwise I would've considered captaining). So, you know that it's the usual excuse if I end up as a slow builder.

If you need extra people to even out the teams I'll play. I may not be great but I will do my best.

Sign me up as a player if there is still some space...

What is wrong with the PT3 benches and the bench geewhzz made?
I do not think there are many new objects that are really better than the ones on these benches.

For the record:
I am against a standard map that is obligatory.
There are so many good objects out there, some concepts need objects for wooden coaster supports, others need Toons' supports ... one could most likely go on with this for hours.

I've been considering being a captain, but I'm afraid I won't be able to live up to the task. That, and I'm afraid there'll be a lot of bitching about how I'm a captain...

If you can't find enough captains, I'll volunteer. Otherwise, I'll stay a player.

If you sign up as a playing captain, you can play yes...
Be aware as said in the first post, that it requires a couple of things of you..

Give a few more days definitely. Try to get 75-80 players signed up I'd say (but don't let it run on forever, maybe sometime early next week). Hopefully that way there will be a significant pool of subs right from the beginning.

note: I edited my previous post to say that I could play as a captain but if and only if I'm not playing; it's one or the other for me. Personally I'd rather play.

^I agree we need around 80 sign-ups to get a decent H2H season.. I just think a lot of older parkmakers just don't visit NE often and as a result don't know about a new H2H season, while they might have interest in participating.. Just look at last H2H season where suddenly a lot of (inactive) parkmakers showed up and participated, like Toon, Fatha and Harakiri.. Hell, even mantis showed up

Why not just put a mailing/newsletter out to let EVERYONE know there are sign-ups for a new H2H season, or something like that?
