RCT Discussion / A quick question.

Hi

I'm new to all of this, and i have the game, but it has wacky worls and time twister installed into it, does that mean if i decide to release a park, you guys will have to have the expansion too?, even if i only pick objects that are in rct2?

well they arent, as disneysea by highball had an expansion i think.

welcome, and it would be better if you uninstalled them, as hardly anyone would be able to veiw them, and theyre a waste of space.

If you use objects from Wacky Worlds or Time Twisters we will need those expansion packs to view your park, but if you use just Rct2 objects then everyone wll be able to view your park.

either expansion is very welcome. however, most people do not have them. so, if you like to use objects that work only with wacky worlds or time twister, bear in mind that few people will be able to view your park.

in my opinion, this shouldn't matter too much to you though. play the game for your own enjoyment. try not to build parks that become "famous" or recognised for skill. the majority of people who have come to this community followed latter approach to the game and quickly have lost the fun part about playing the game.

if i were to play rct2 today (i have only ever played rct1), i would do a wwtt park.

also, do not worry about having ww or tt objects in your workbench, as long as the are not used somewhere in the park. we remove all unused objects from our releases before they get released to reduce their filesize and download time. meaning, if your submission has wwtt objects in it, people will need the expansions to open it. however, when we've removed those objects, regular rct2 people will be able to open it.
