will there actually be another park to this?
I really hope to see this finished one day and I can't wait to see what's next... -

Thanks guys.
^ As for another park, not sure. Im still feeling the pain of HNWA and that really killed the motivation for me to attempt another park of that size. For now, Im just happy to be buidling what I am building now. The other problem I have is I would need Brian to do the coasters for them and although I know he would do them with no problems, I would hate to ask him to do them when I'm not sure the park would be finished.
As for the resort map, the accident investigation is over (thanks to cp6) and the crews are back on the job site.

Quick update. The resort is nearly finished and we expect a soft opening this weekend for some initial thoughts on the property. If all goes well, the grand opening will be early next week.
Many thanks to Kumba for the two objects he made last week. without them, this would be much MUCH different looking.
As we start wrapping this resort up, the crews are starting to get ready for the next update to the project

Today we are happy to officially announce construction on the third theme park to be added to the Hyatt property. Hyatt's Racing Adventures will take you into the exciting world of motorsports. The park will feature areas dedicated to F1, NASCAR, Indy Car and the Red Bull Air Races to name just a few.
Below you will find the main entrance symbolic to racing in the US and "perhaps" the biggest race in the world.
Over the next few weeks, we will share additional info about the park and its attractions

Very nice, James! Part of me wishes the atmosphere was more "fun," though. Maybe instead of the permanent structures there, you can play around with the idea of colored tents to give it a bit more of an exciting, kinetic, "Race Day" kind of vibe, just to pump guests up. It just seems so demure for a park themed to something so adrenaline-filled. -

Needs some kind of statue or monument as well. For such a grand entrance, it could be anywhere - it needs something to mark it out as the grand entrance to this specific park - possibly a piece of a coaster train used on an e-ticket attraction, a custom deco race car, or a CSO statue of some kind. I like robbie's idea as well. -

^Look up the Indianapolis motor speedway Pagoda, you'll see. Perhaps Rob is right, the anticipation before a race is tremendous, and that would be a neat addition to pump up the guests somehow.
I'd say the 24 Hours of LeMans is "perhaps" the biggest imo, but not in America.
As far as the screen, I like it, I just noticed the brick strip and thought that was brilliant to those of us who understand it. -

I understand the whole Pagoda thing, but I think using it as the entrance building is possibly a bad idea in the terms that the structure is massive, and entrances to parks don't tend to be the biggest structure in the park. I would have said it would have looked better in a more central location, kind of like Disney's castle, the Pagoda could have been the icon for the park, something that can be seen from everywhere because of it's central location. It just seems a waste being at the front of the park and seems to big for the park here.
I agree with robbie about the use of tents and using a 'temporary structure' look, structures that would be there permanently of course, but look like they are temporary race structures.
It's a great screen, and a great structure, instantly recognisable, I just feel it would be better located elsewhere. -

Well, except for the fact that 'entrances don't tend to be the biggest structures in a park' is a weak argument, this isn't your ordinary theme park and there's not a reason why RCTNW should follow a certain parkmaking formula. I think the entrance looks fine, by the way. Though robbie has a point, like I said.
I like it RCTNW, but I'd like to see more theme-specific ideas and maybe a little less blue. Maybe the blue roofs look better in black. Looking forward to seeing more. Good luck! -

If this is themed to mainly Nascar I'mma be very sad
OH and I'd just like to point out that Formula 1 is by far and away the biggest motorsport in the world. Your 75 million Nascar fans don't have shit on the 575 million Formula 1 fans -

I didn't say he should follow a certain parkmaking formula, I was suggesting that the use of the Pagoda structure could be better placed as an iconic centerpiece rather than an entrance structure, and commenting that the entrance is rather large I think is a valid criticism, one that I'm sure, James will ignore, and quite rightly as I was only expressing my opinion and suggesting an alternative. -

Point taken, but Indianapolis Motor Speedway is not made famous by NASCAR, but rather IndyCar.OH and I'd just like to point out that Formula 1 is by far and away the biggest motorsport in the world. Your 75 million Nascar fans don't have shit on the 575 million Formula 1 fans
