Project Status #75 - 3/12/11

Well, after a very busy couple of months, it's time to take a small break from actual building and get back to some planning now that NWA is finshed. There are a couple of things I have going on in my head that I need to start the planning phase for the next map. This will also allow me to check out some of the other releases not that I have some free time which will be nice since there have been some great releases these past few weeks.

With that said, it may be a few weekes before the next update is posted.

I am deeply sorry for your loss, and I am extremely grateful that you took the time to come to this silly forum for a video game to announce your departure; that was a tactful thing to do, and most people would not in the midst of a grieving process.

I will keep you in my prayers, and I hope your life will still be okay even though you have sustained this loss.

I'm not allowing this to be closed until you're fair and tell us some reasons. I think we all heart this project very much.

After many months of the project stitting still, I decided to at least work on the main aerial! As you can see, the landscapping has changed a bit as I was not happy with some of the teraforming that was in place.

The big news is that we now have a large scale aerial which has grown to approx 8000x4000! Click the map for the full image! Be aware, the file size is around 7Mmgs. Special thanks to posix for helping with the image qualityvs size.

Although not much else is happening, I do have some plans kicking around in my head so you never know. For now, I plan to work on some of the surounding maps and get the roads in place.

This is awesome ! I love the contrast between the maps, and how they fit perfect next to each other.

When people really enjoy playing the game, like you do, RCTNW, a lot is possible.

How did you put all those trees in there?

There's a tool in the scenario editor that allows multiple placements of trees, but still requires a lot of manual effort.

Such an amazing project and awesome to have a closer aerial.

So what's happeneing with the project currently? I thought it was cancelled? I really hope the airport is still in your plans?

Have you deleted some of the roads and monorail track in the unfinished maps as well?
