I think that once you see the area it's in, you might have a different take on it. In any case, I'm very happy with this one as it went through several different versions before I was happy with one. Thanks though.nice though, although the coloring is a bit dull. I would imagine some more sleek modern things for an imax. right now it looks like a bass pro shop. will you make something sponsored by trojan condoms or something similair?
Thanks. Glad you liked itActually, it looks like a pretty good example of PoMo architecture -- due to its scaling, the blend of plain, brick, and wood facing, and the tile/sheet metal roofing.
I'm not typically a fan of your work, James, as I find a lot of it very sterile looking, but I can actually picture myself in this scene. That IMAX is a fantastic piece of architecture.

Thanks. I helps when you get in a groove and things come quickly to mind. I take advantage of this time as I will hit a block and will not touch the game. I'm just in a groove right now.Looking at this has got me in awe everytime there's a status report....
I actually am looking forward to seeing the complete aerial one day, just the fact that your progress seems to be stellar atm is just crazy, you just released a park that's spotlight worthy and you're almost done with a park that's probably going to top the previous one with another 5hotels and resort maps done and such this is just the pinacle of produvtivty and I applaud you for your determination.
Thanks, I tryAlso his ability to take criticism without hesitation.
The sign has been tweeked a bit however the color in this area will stay as it is. Sorry.I'm loving the last screen. But I hate those plain signs, I hope you change them. Maybe you could also add some more colour to the screen. However I think the foilage is perfect.

Indeedlove the way people are specifying what's plain about the screen.
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I just have an update posted shortly

This past week has been a mixed bag of emotions with regards to the progress on the park. First the good news, the park saw all of the areas filled in as the parks flat rides and various shops and restaurants started popping up all over. This leaves the final area for the parks final coaster and water ride to get put in place. The sad news was that the Object limit has had it official impact on the map as a significant and time consuming area to build has been removed and although it was required and am happy with the end result, it was difficult to see it get modified. I treated it like a band-aid and just ripped it off. This modification should be enough to get the park through the final stage. Below you see the latest satellite image which you can clearly see the remaining area to be worked.
In other news, the parks 7th coaster is now in place leaving the parks final coaster to be put in place.
Now that NWA will be leaving my hands for awhile, work on the next map is in the planning stages and am looking forward to getting into it soon. If all goes well, it should really take off!

Can you verify whether or not the Studio Park is still in the plans for this, and if so, what studio you're using? For some reason, I'm very curious about that one. -

Regarding the screen posted near the top of the page that i've only just seen..
I know it might be too late to do something about it now (object limit), and you may have already addressed it, but I don't like the plain wooden wall for the front top of the imax. I definitely think that at the very least that wall should be steel, but if you can work it in, a proper facade with a picture or a proper sign would look much better.
That arial looks amazing man. -

Not a lot has taken place this past week with regards to the actual park however work has continued on the surrounding areas of the resort. That said, I wanted to post an update so here you go.

I still really dislike that pastel red on the track. I think dark red or the crimson would just look so much nicer and make it stand out better. -

^The bright red is too bright for my taste and the dark red is just too dark for the area and changes the intended atmosphere in my eyes. I think we will just agree to disagree on this one. -

The light red\tan color scheme is one used waaaay too much, but here it actually looks really nice. Great job. -
