i like it, but i was a bit disappointed.
i was half expecting a stadium with some custom built orcas or something like that!:]
regardless, it looks great.
though i'm not too keen on the alternating colors on the track.
station looks great though man!

You can't make an orca having pink and blue colors Liampie, even you know that. But the colors here are very enjoyable .Colour! Again, it's so well composed.
I really am enjoying it RCTNW, and I can't wait to see the total area of this, I think it's going to be awesome. Is this the third spotlight of 2010? (EPWS, SFC and HOA so far?) -

Did I complain? -

Looks like a killer ride!
It's great to see that this park is nearly done.
Seems to be like a great year of solo parks!

I am in LOVE with how that turn looks over the station and queue. With the supports and the peeps it all just looks so real to me.
Great idea with the colors of the ride, too; very clever and believable.
Only suggestion I have is to maybe give the queue some covering here and there? Either that or toss in some of those "mist fans", cause I can imagine it getting pretty toasty with all that concrete path while waiting in line. -

my only gripe but have to be how the supports all extend inward on that turn over the station. maybe its more realistic the way you have it. it might just be a little pet peeve with me. but it looks like a hell of a ride, very inspiring. -

I would so love to see how the other parks for hyatt will look with this one being as awesome as it is... -

Eh, I'm not that impressed. While it's not bad by any means, there's nothing there to make it as amazing as others here are saying.
Yes, everything in the area works, supports and coaster look nice, nice, functional queue set-up, even a cool Verne-esque station to wrap it all up. But that's just about it. Other than that little orca statue would've never known that it was killer whale themed. Sure, the colors are black and white but does that mean I should instantly pick up the theme? -

It's awesome. Maybe your best work? But I dislike the white parts of the track. I think it would be better just having black track and supports throughout. -

The coaster looks fantastic and best of all your finally using peeps! That really adds to it. Great work James -

Pleasant screen RCTNW. I really like the Orca statue, but I'm gonna have to agree with nin that nothing really stands out to me. Also, I get what you were going for with the alternating black and white, but I just don't think it works here. And the orange/gold (sorry my color separation skills are horrible) of the station roof looks awkward to me. Like you just colored the roof to give the screen some color. However, the design of the roof of the station is interesting. -

Reply time!
In:Cities - Sorry this disappointed you. I do have an Orca Stadium however its not ready to be shown just yet.
Liampie - Thanks
Cena - It would be nice. Thanks
5dave - LOL. I knew I missed one
hulkpower25 - Thanks
Steve - I'll be sure to do that during the detail phase of the parks construction
RMM - Thanks and no worries.
JDP - It was nice to see him the race three times!
zburns999 - Thanks
BelgianGuy - I do too!
nin - I can respect that opinion. The idea around this whole park is I want the "themes" to be very understated in that I don't want some cheezy or gimiky look to these rides. I had the station roof in the shape of a killer whale but it just did not fit the concept of the park. That being said, I do have a custom sign and the coaster is located directly across from the Orca Stadium so I think there will be enough. Thanks though for the feedback
Marlin - Yea I did!
FantastiCo - Thanks TC
Louis! - sorry buddy, the white is staying and I think when you see it zoomed out, it will look better.
Kumba - The little basterds still piss me off though in that I have to deal with the peep traps. Oh well.
Dark_Horse - No worries
As always, thanks everyone for following along!

Everything seems good except the coaster colours. I know what you're getting at, but have you tried sections black track with white supports and white track with black supports? The track just doesn't pop like coasters normally do, even on the white on white sections.
I'm loving that black/gold/teal colour combo on the station, though. -

Sorry about the delay MA in gettign back to you. I did try that however with all the glitching the supports are causing with some angles on the intamin track, I felt it looks beter with matching supports. Having the track and supports the same color hides the glitches and akes it blend in more.
Small update - Several flats were added this weekend along with a feature taken from DCA that I'm really happy with. Overall, I think the park is now at 80% complete and will need to get it back to Levis soon to have him finish up his contribution. Even at 80% though, I'm looking at an early summer (June) completion date at the earliest. I'll take a look around the park and see if there is anything I want to post as an update and get it posted tonight or tomorrow
As always, thanks
