^ I can understand that and it’s tough as the concept has been done and I’m trying to make it it’s own. I’m deliberately not looking at any marine park (MMW or any other park for that matter) so that I can try and stay clear. However there are going to be some similarities between MMW and HOA. Yes they both have 4 show stadiums. Yes it has a shark encounter area however most Marine Parks in real life (at least the ones I have been too) have these as well so it make sense to have these in HOA. The coaster line-up is complete different and the park layout is totally different. All that said, I have stated all along that this may very well be a “MMW v2” in many people’s eyes. I just hope that those that do see it this way also see it as an improvement as that is the true goal for this map.

I have never been to WDW (will be going in December though)

Did you visited the WDW by the way James? Haven't heard anything from that again yet.

    Screen is looking great :D

^ No, we had to cancel our vacation plans

Wow, RCTNW you are actually just the best person.

    Congratulations, and keep it up.

ALSO, FULL MARKS FOR MENTIONING MEGALODON, MY FAVORITE MARINE CREATURE (AS A SIDE NOTE, MY FAVORITE AIR CREATURE IS THE RAVEN AND MY FAVORITE LAND CREATURE IS THE WHITE WOLF AND MY FAVORITE EXTINCT LAND CREATURE IS THE WOOLY MAMMOTH AND MY FAVORITE NONEXTINCT MARINE CREATURE IS THE GREAT WHITE SHARK AND I HATE ALL INSECTS). Megalodon could also possibly be my favorite overall creature, although that's up for debate.

    PROPS!!!

Well, After the realization that this is the one year anniversary of the project, I couldn't let it go without a significant update. I'm doing something I've never done before and showing an overview of HOA and here it is!

OK so it's not the overview you were expecting.

I can tell from the overview that this is much better than Marriot's Marine World.

    I like the stadium.

I might have to arrest you for... um... plagarism of a real park's map as your own RCT park?

I dunno, it sounded way cooler in my head, but holy SHITS! That overview looks good.

    Louis! - Thanks

Liampie - That is my hope.

Alpengeistfan1 - I'm pretty happy with it also

Luketh - lol. Glad you liked it

In other news, a 6th coaster (7 planned overall) has been brought on site and the support work has started. In addition, I have seeked advise from a well known and respected "External Consultant" regarding the current progress of the park and I look forward to hearing back from them soon with some suggestions on how I can take this up a notch in quality for our guests. Also, for you "anti-cement path" folks out there, I have started to go back and remove some of them with the more standard tarmac thanks to gee for helping me to get the placed correctly. Keep in mind that they will still be the primary path in the park but not as much as previously shown.

    Again, thanks everyone.

Looks awesome to me. I love these overviews as they don't offer anything in terms of whats to come but I can't help but getting excited.

    I need help guys.

The 6th coaster is an Invertgo clone and I'm having a bitch of a time with the supports around the loop and was wondering if there are any good examples of in RCT of the support work for the loop?

Here is what it look like so far

And here is a good example of it in rcdb

So if you know of any RCT2 examples, please let me know. This is taking forever to get something I'm happy with.

    Thanks

    James

BTW - The colors are not final

I'll be sure to see how you do this because I have Done one and have had trouble supporting it to. If you have the horizontal supports which sit on the edge of the tile you can use those at the bottom where the two tracks come together. It looks a little wierd though because it would be two tiles long.
  • RCTNW%s's Photo
^ I tried that however the problem is none of the vertical supports would line up with it.
  • Austin55%s's Photo
The way I did it was, as if you were looking down on it, have it shaped like a T rather than just straight line. So likefrom the side it was an upside down V.

I hate supporting loops! This would be good to see as well as I'm still a N00b at supporting.
  • BelgianGuy%s's Photo
I you want I can do it for you, I'm pretty good when it comes to supports and I agree the loops on inverts are a pain...I recommend looking at so B:TR clones cuz they have pretty much the same supports in rct2 limits
  • Louis!%s's Photo
RCTNW, Majesty secret showroom. The dump place in there contains a shot of a decent way to support that type of loop. Robbie knows what i'm talking about ;)

Thanks everyone. I think I may have solved it. It's not the best and it still glitches but I don't think you can help the glitching when it comes to these. I'll post a SS in the next update or two.

    Thanks again everyone
