    Amazing Work RCTNW

Want to see the park done already.

i'm going to have to be honest and say that although i still like it, i slowly start to find myself reacting "ah, yeah, same old" to your screens now.

I could care what starts looking the same. I rather have him active and one dimensional then not active at all. Keep doing your thing James, it looks great.

i didnt want to post that through fear of getting flamed.
    i agree however.

No worries guys. Feel free to post anything. If you don't like it, you don't like it.

Well than I'd have to agree with them, it appears nearly identical to MGA's.

^And you would be correct. I happen to like the way that come out to be honest and I wanted to bring it over to HOA.

i want to see a different custom flat from you please.

Not a big fan of huge grey concrete triangle shaped structures, and I have to say I'm with sammy and posix. It's of course good stuff, just that we've seen it before.

BTW being a complete real life coaster idiot, do freefalls really look that way? I mean entering the vertical track from one point and leaving it from another? If so, how does that work? track switch?
  • RCTNW%s's Photo
^interesting. I'm not sure I have doen that type of station before. Oh well. As for your question - no, they actually enter the shaft and rise like an elevator. When it gets to the top, they slid the car out over the track and then it drops from there.

    Thanks

Nice fresh architecture from you in that screen
The foliage is really effective too

    Keep it up

    Project Status #37 - 12/25/09

Small update today even though work continues at a steady pace. Today I thought I would share a sequance of overview updates to give a feel on how the project has progressed these past few months.

Here you see the first significant update to the overview the addition of HLSR and the parking area back in July

Here you find the addition of ATT Stadium back in August. Although not shown, work on HOA had continued but was not ready fot eh main aerials yet.

October brought us the first glimps of the three maps that were in progress at the time with HCCGC, HOA and the Convention Center.

November was a great month as HCCGC and HCBR were completed and the lower corner was starting to really take shape.

Thanks Leo. The rapids area is done so expect the map late on Jan 1st. By then I should have coaster #4 fully supported and in place. All in all, the park is shaping up nicely.

    Project Status #38 - 1/4/10

Work on the park this past week was very minimal as the park is getting some special attention from the technical experts on two major attractions. The good news though is that 2 more coasters have been added to the park with one of them being from CP6 making it four total from the coaster master. The other coaster was designed by myself and based on early feedback, it looks to be a keeper! I hope to have some SS's posted in the next update once I get the map back. He have also targeted a release date of 4-2-10 for HOA which the crew is pretty confident we can meet.

In other news, initial plans for a complete rework of HAA is in full swing as I'm looking to take the park in a different direction than originally planned. Some of the items may stay in place however most will be replaced/reworked.

Finally, the Convention Center is getting closer to it's final design and should be finished by early 2010 closing the loop on the lower corner of the project.

The set of overviews are really impressive. While I will love the final piece more then the seperate parks I have to hand it to you, this project is so impressive in terms of scale and dedication.

    Can't wait to see more.

Seahawk...that's an interesting name, lol. Does your location have anything to do with the name? :p
