^Yeah but what if all of a sudden he stopped building and he never worked on a park again. Then everyone would be bitching that they miss RCTNW and his style of work. I mean mala has been gone for how long and people still would kill for him to touch the game again. So I am just thankful James is still extremely productive and could possibly go down as the most productive parkmaker of all time.

SSSammy - I would love to use something else however I do have some challanges to work around
1 - I do not like using the invisible paths with bas blocks under it. IMO the texture looks off to me.
2 - now that I'm working on using peepable parks, I refuse to use the que lines that come with the game or even some of the custom ones.
3 - I like using the slanted/angled paths and this is the only I like to use that does not glitch or look stange in comparison to the other areas. I can use them on bridges and other areas.
So in short, I like the look of them and will continue to use them when I can. I do try to use other path types when it fits but this is the default one I will continue to use.
JDP - I for one would hardly compare myself to Mala and I don't think many would miss me if I stopped building all of a sudden. I'm sorry to say that you will continue to see similar items in the future as I'm not going for anything new or ubber-inventive. I like to take previous ideas and make them better than before. This is probably why you wont see anything of mine on the front page in the foreseeable future. This is a form of relaxation for me and I enjoy sharing them with all of you. If you like it, great! If not or you feel you have seen it before, that's OK as well.
Thanks

I love that screen so so so so so much.
And those concrete paths are one of your trademarks. I love them for that simple reason. -

HOA is moving along nicely as I have had some great motivation to work on this map. The latest additions have been around the Shark Experience area with the addition of a functioning IMAX theater and walk through Shark Aquarium. In addition, Megladon's station is now in place which had been a challenge for me to come up with something.
The below SS is of the Sky Tower which is located just inside from the entrance to the park. Although noting real special, I do like the end result as do the peeps!
This weekend, the focus will shift back over to the resort map so that it can be release this weekend as I figure I have around 5 hours of work left on it. If all goes well, we should be open for business soon!

the only thing in the game which you really need to improve on is foliage.
nice screen. -

The past two screens have both been great, but I was just thinking about it and why wouldn't a stadium in a Hyatt Resort be named after Hyatt
This is referring to the AT&T Stadium -

I love how though this park is themed to marine life and the sea, the park itself doesn't scream it at you. Parks like SeaWorld are fully themed to showcase the ocean and marine life, and everything in that pak reminds you of it. What you have here is a formal park that just so happens to have marine exhibits and sea-life themed coasters, but the actual park itself is very formal. -

It looks a little sterile to me, not sure how to spruce it up. Just look really dark to me with the grey and dark purple in the corner and the white flowers. Maybe add some different trees to give it more color? The custom ones there fit well there I think too, though, and the diagonals are really making the area work which I am a huge fan of. I think the the "center" of the plaza is great cause it has all that beauty around it with the brick and beige and the water and the statues and the huge trees. Then I see the IMAX and it looks the exact opposite. You should bring what you have in the center to the whole area I think. Still solid work, though James. -

SSSammy - I would not argue that point.
nin - That is my intent for the most part. Thanks.
Sulakke - sorry
Liampie - is that meant to be positive?
Steve - Thanks I now that I look at it, your right. That said, part of the problem is your not seeing the surrounding area. I think I need to show a bit more of the area and explain a few things. 1st, the IMAX theater is meant to be in the Shark Experience area which features the Aquarium, IMAX, Megladon (B&M Floorless) and a flat ride or two. The area is meant to be a bit dark and intimidating/bold to help carry the shark mindset. The problem I had was the footprint to get both the IMAX and aquarium in that area. The previous SS featured the entrance to IMAX was poorly placed and have since moved it to help pull it away from the entrance plaza and place it with the Shark area. Below is the modified SS which I hope is an improvement. Thanks again for the feedback Steve, I think the below changes have improved the feel.
A couple of items to note. The path above the IMAX entrance is actually the exit from the upper level of the theater while the path at the bottom of the stairs is the exit from the lower level. And yes, the inside of the theater is detailed.

I like those dark purple things on the wall. I don't know how to explain them though.
