^ I've seen specials on that and it's indeed very cool however this just does not fit the project concept. For one thing, I've pretty much maxed out the height I want to go with HSLR. Anything taller would not look right IMHO and this would need to be taller than RCT would allow to do it justice. Besides, my hotel needs to be a bit smaller in scale due to the land size I have available for this resort.
DH - I'm not really big on "Theme" resorts as I need to be in the mood to build it. I will one day, have a couple "Theme" hotels included in the project just not right now.
All that said, keep the suggestions coming. I'm not completely sold on the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara design yet and theres time to make changes.
Thanks

This project is so epic, there is really not much more to say. Also, if I were to suggest a hotel, it'd be the Hyatt Mccormick Place in Chicago, as it seems itd fit in nicely no matter how you do it, and it was designed as part of a convention center complex so seems perfect for what your doing, IMO.
Oh, and, First post @ NE! -

Anything is possible.
Though I trust you completely James. You'll make the best decision. Just stretch your wings. -

No offense, but I think that would be a horrible choice for this project. To me, it just looks like a small office building. This project is so epic, there is really not much more to say. If you want a real nice Hyatt hotel, why not try the Manchester Grand Hyatt in my region? It's very lovely:

^ Thanks for the pic. This could work out well but will need to look at the foot print a bit closer -

AS long as your Bay is cleaner than the Chesapeake. :-P Unfortunately, I no longer go swimming in the Bay and it's tributaries because of it's uncleanliness. Kind of surprised at how clean the water looks in that pic. If I find an aerial of that, I'll post it.
This is a pretty good shot of the whole area, and this is the website. They even have an e-brochure. I'm sure that could help you in deciding.Edited by Dark_Horse, 27 October 2009 - 08:56 AM.

I love all these aerial maps that are popping up.
This looks superb, I've been inspired by your golf courses recently and this one looks even better than the others.
Oh and the free round of golf with an NE ID was cute -

Looks awesome. Is the road supposed to go underground on the left side of the screen? -

Louis! - Thanks
Alpengeistfan1 - Yes it does. There is some significant height variation on this map which allowed me even more room for the course yet still fit the project road work. -

James, you don't need luck for this. I praise you for your patience, and quick building skills. I'm barely getting anywhere with my resort map for Starbird.
Comments: What are those thin lines for? Golf Cart paths? -

That's awesome. I don't know how you do it, but I always love the little details you put into your work. I'd be interested to know which parts of WDW are inspiring which parts of this project.
