I like the L shaped station idea Todd thought you were achieving, however I think the idea with the extra chairs actually detracts from the screen. At first I didn't notice the chairs, it's a cool concept, but I'm just not a fan of a "skyride transfer." No offense James, but I think it would look better without it. Feel free to disagree (which most of you will do anyway) -

This project is awesome, Your rct style seems a bit grey, but that just makes it look better and more realistic. Just wondering, how do you build objects that are super high? -

Dark Horse - Thanks and as always I can appreciate your opinion and thanks for the feedback.
jaguarkid140 - Thanks. BTW, Shift and Ctrl are your friends! -

I for one like the idea of having extra cars on the chair lift, or on just about any ride.. -

Project Status #25 - 10/5/09
Work over the past few weeks as been a bit slow as rct time has been somewhat limited however, the crews were out in force yesterday on a new map for the project. Actualy 3 new maps received some attention mostly in the form of land clearing and shoreline development. One new map in particular received significant amount of work and I'm really happy with what I see so far. If all goes well, this should be finished by early November. That said, I'm not ready to release the details just yet though, sorry. In other news, HOA received some minor work and we should be receiving another coaster or two soon.

Real curious about the new map.

BG - Thanks. Glad you liked it!
TC - Although there are plans for some completely new concepts/maps planned for this project, this new map is not one of them, sorry. That said, I'm much happier about this current map than the last time I attempted it. -

Well, not much happened this past week. Work has been busy and interest in GT4 has increased as I finally have the F1 Race Car and it’s a blast to drive at Nurburgring.
As for RCT, I would like to throw out an idea while coaster construction continues for HOA and I have some free time. As most of you know, there are several maps that really have no plans other than resort hotels for the most part. Problem is I’m having a creative block on the design. If any of you have a hotel/resort in mind that you would like to see in RCT, post the info below (links to photos would be best) and I’ll see what I can do.

haha yeahh, thats an insanely addicting game man.
have you unlocked the italian courses yet?
i forgot their names, but they are easily my favorites.
i used to have every single thing unlocked on that game, until my little brother saved over my file so he could create his season on madden.
ughh.
lol but as far as hotels go dude, i'm not really too sure.
one of the most outstanding ones i can think of off the top of my head is the Atlantis one in the bahamas.
i also like the Grand Floridian at Disney World.
that would be sick if you could pull that off.
[or maybe even the Contemporary one]
also for the record, if you build basically anything from Dubai, that would be amazing:] -

http://forums.nedesi...w...=19769&st=0The Atlantis one in the bahamas.
Grand Floridian at Disney World.
Atlantis is a nice thing to build RCTNW ... I tried (see URL above), but that one was just too well, it didn't turned out well to my opinion. But okay.
Maybe you and me can try/do the Atlantis Hotel (Bahama's version, the one in Dubai sucks).
About the other suggestion of In:Cities, I am already building a big hotel on my DFS park, inspired by the Grand Floridian. -
In:Cities Offline
ohh dang, i forgot about the atlantis you built lol.
oh well.
even though i watch the travel channel a lot, its only for the weird food shows and anthony bourdain.
not too big on the hotel shows:] -

So far, I see three suggestions (would love to see more)
The Atlantis one in the bahamas - Cena, did you ever finish it? I loved the upper levels. As for doing this one, I try to stay away from hotels that have been done before so although it would be fun, I think I'll pass on this one.
Grand Floridian at Disney World - Again, I believe Highball has already done this one to the point of perfection.
Contemporary Hotel at Disney World - This one has crossed my mind however it would be a variation of the Contemporary as I don't want to place a Disney hotel on this project.
I forgot to mention that once I start building it, I will be posting full construction photos/updates at the end of each day. I have been asked many times how I do these things and figured this would be a good time to show it -

How about the demolished Imperial hotel at tokio from Frank Lloyd Wright? it always looked cool to me. -

The Burj al arab in Dubai.
If you could SOMEHOW rebuild that, you'll be the master of rct architecture -
Dark_Horse Offline
How about one of the hotels from Atlantic City, NJ? Casear's or the Taj would look stunning if you could pull it off (which I know you can)
Altantic City (NJ) Hotels -

Casimir - I've thought about that (even attempted it when I first saw it) however the curved side would be very difficult to replicate. That said, it could be another option.
DH - I forgot about Vegas - I'll take a look and see if anything catches my eye. Thanks -

I think you meant you forgot about Atlantic City. jk James.Edited by Dark_Horse, 16 October 2009 - 12:16 PM.
