In all honesty I don't think Mark will pull it off (even though that will be awesome for him if he did). I think Jimmy Johnson is going to win it for the forth year in a row and become the only person to do it.

Seeing how big it is on the map, and how big those seatings look in the screen this will be immense!
Will you send it in for CC?

steve - thanks and yes there are escalators, just not in this SS.

SF - the current plan is to submit it for CC sometime prior to Sunday. Still have a few items to finish up and then send it to a tester for a final look over.

JDP and CP6 - I would love to see MM win the title however Im concerned with his consistancy. that said though, I see it coming down to JJ or TS shooting it out. the thing is, anyone can pull it off, you just need to get hot and stay out of trouble

I agree that the style has gotten too boring... You always use the same path, the same trees, the same grass as filler and the same colours. It's still cool though, the big structures like this stadium do compensate for me. Moreover, I don't doubt that you're having fun with this building style which is most important. However you might try to discover another style, shouldn't be hard and it can be as much fun as this!

Good luck on finishing and submitting it for CC. Should win easily, as far as I can tell.

Ok guys, I have a problem. In short, I have accomplished what I wanted to accomplished with the stadium and am very happy with it. That said, it needs some landscapping efforts that I just can't visualize putting in place.

Aside from coaster designs, foliage is another area I just have very little interest in. That said, if you would be interested in helping out, please send me a PM with some samples of your foliage work and I'll see if your style will work with the areas of the map that need it as I want to make sure it won't clash with the map. As for objects, if selected you are more than welcome to take the map back into the SE to add objects you need.

In general, there are areas along the road side, around the stadium and a beach coastline could use some attention, so if you have the time to work on this now and can finish it up quickly, please let me know.

Thanks in advance for you consideration.

I always had thought your foliage style worked well with your parks. Especially in MMW. I would offer to help you out but I don't think my landscaping style would mesh well with your architecture and I dont have any extra time since school and Innis Gardens are keeping me busy

The new screen looks nice as always BTW. However, the high tables look a bit too high for the peeps.

Chapelz comes to mind for someone who could do some amazing foliage.
  • nin%s's Photo
Yeah, like inVersed i really don't think my foliage would suit.

    Small update

Guy Smiley has offered to help with soe of the landscapping (again many thanks Todd). This means that AT&T Stadium will be submitted tomorrow night :)

As for whats next, the crews have shifted back over to the park and will be making some significant changes to the parks previous attractions based on new capabilities recent discovered. I hope to show some SS's of the construcion area in a couple of weeks.

Louis! - Thanks. That is what I try to accomplish.

SF - I'm sure I can find something for you.

Small Update - The map is finished and has been submitted. Now it's off to work on one of the parks!

    Project Status #22 - 9/7/09

Hyatt's Ocean Adventures is officialy announced as the second theme park as part of Project Aries!

HOA will feature world class coasters, thrill rides and shows for the entire family. Construction on the park is off to a great start and making progress with 2 coasters in place and fully supported. Although I can't release to much of the details yet, I can say that one of them was designed by CP6! Over the next few weeks, more details around the park will be released.

Below is the SS from the recent Fiesta and although it's not much, I'm very happy with the look and feel.

As I said in the Fiesta topic. Fantastic work.

Good that you finished the Stadium :) Congrats :)

I really like the screen, but, at the first waves, it is going threw each other at different heights, I really like that, but on the second (the larger ones) it is going at the same height (the trackarchitecture), Maybe it would look better if you did it like the first ones? (Just a hint) and under those waves, you are missing some supports I think :)

And one final question, can you show us some screens of rides (coasters etc?) That would be cool to see :)

None the less, you are the fastest builder I have ever seen. And I hope you will win your accolade (CC I think?)

Goodluck with this and the other maps RCTNW!

    Louis! - Thanks

Cena – I tried the different height on the ones you mentioned and did not like the look from the backside. Also, since these are not actual coaster tracks, the supports in place are more than strong enough to support them. As for a SS of the coasters, I may have one ready to show later today or tomorrow. As for being fast, I just get in a groove every now and then and can get things finished. This past weekend was a great example of that as the weather outside was really crappy which makes for great RCT time.

    Thanks

You always find a way to make tracitecture look beautiful and elegant. Just looks more like actual scenery pieces rather then track itself.

I also believe you are by far the most consistent parkmaker on this site. Even though your work is repetitive, it can neither be matched or duplicated by anyone else and always keeps me watching.

    Good shit.
