Just to be clear to everyone, The AT&T Stadium that I'm working on will look nothing like the real AT&T Stadium in SF. This is an original design (with minor styling ques from Target Fields) that will be used for Football. Soccer, Concerts, Motocross, Tractor Pulls, Monster Truck events. We are also being looked at to host "X Games 16". -

^ WWE Summerslam would be cool in such a stadium.
Can't wait to see screens from it RCTNW. -

A screenshot is at least 2 weeks away as I'm still getting the main structures in place. One of the things I learned is to get the minimum elements in place befor moving on to significant detail work. This was the problem I ran into on the last map.
This weekend I hope to finish the parking area and road work for the stadium. The only "detail" work completed so far is the actual football field markings which is the same as Target Fields so there is no point in showing that again.
All that said, I'll see what I can do -

It's the future home for an expansion team that is still looking for a franchise. If I told you, I'd have to kill you -

Project Status #20 - 8/21/09
Construction is really crusing now and the stadium is nearly complete. If all goes well, it should be finished by next weekend. Although we had asked for low altitude aerial shot, the pilot had to return to the airfield due to technical difficulties with the aircraft so we had to go with plan B. Although a bit higher, you can still get a feel for the final product.

Great to see the stadium is almost completed James, really looking forward to it!
I now remember I still have to comment on the parking facility and the Lake Scarlett Resort. But let me say those are great appetizers indeed!
I kind of stole your status report update thing, as I thought it was a great way to motivate yourself, get it all in perspective for yourself and see what is really left..
Anyway, have fun and looking forward to it!

I just did some quick counting. You have 1 000 000 RCT squares to treat, minus the parts you've already done. Just so everyone knows. 1 000 000. Equal to 10^6. That's frightening. You frighten me, RCTNW.Edited by Splitvision, 21 August 2009 - 05:42 PM.

One thing that I expected.. In the stadium you should make one layer of the seats orange because AT&T is considered Cingular. But overall VERY NICE!!!!! -

^ Cingular is no longer as AT&T acquired Cingular thus removing that brand. Therefore, no orange.
