Love it. Don't see anything wrong with it except the white fence at the bottom. Also, could you get us an overview of the coaster? I haven't really seen much of the layout. -

I LOVE IT! I've been saying that a lot lately (mostly in the canes forum ) but the landscaping is perfection, the elevation changes are incredible and the archy is simple but enough detail to make this an epic screen. -

You have a very interesting style, Todd. I was hoping this would show up again. Is this meant as a design or a park? -

Very unique and distinctive style. Its somewhat messy and might be too much brown for my taste, but an interesting screen nonetheless. -

Alright, I'm at a crossroad here. I've recently rebuilt my laptop, and reinstalled all programs. I haven't installed RCT Modified yet, and I'm not sure that I'm going to.
Here's a screen without modified installed. How retarded does it look? Ugly?
vs. with modified installed
And
Without modified again
vs with modified

Dude your work is getting better and better, but maybe you're showing too much. Either way, keep it up.

Sorry, I should have made it more clear what my intentions with these screens are...
I am trying to decide if I should use rct modified. The screens show a before and after. What looks better? -

Again, I'm confused. The park file is not different at all, just the way your computer shows the file, so why are you asking us if you should use RCT Modified to view your parks? -

In all honesty, without RCTM looks a lot better. The screens that do use RCTM look sort of unorganized, while the ones without look clean and refined. -

I'd say without modified. For a lot of people who download your park it will be without modified so you might as well make it all without modified in the first place as it doesnt look bad at all. -

Gee, I'm not asking about using it for me to view my park, but more like Louis says... If I build my park based on how it looks to me with modified, it's going to look all goofy for those who are NOT using modified.
So, based on the screens, which screens look better? I originally built with modified, hence the missing bases for the rides, and lack of entrance buildings. I now lack modified, so you can now see the entrance buildings, and the ride bases are visible.
I'll probably not install modified again. I'll just tweak the park a bit so it looks ok without it. -

I think you should reinstall RCTM. It would just be a pain to the people who don't have it and are trying to view your park. -

Park File extention is different:
Normal RCT: SV6
RCTModified: SV7
With RCTM, you have two .exe files, one normal, one modified. Normal RCT (SV6) uses the normal .exe file, RCTModified (SV7) uses the modified .exe file
That is how it works basically.
Same with the GUI, There are also 2 versions of that if you have RCTModified installed ... One normal and one modified.

Well, Guy Smiley, I think you should build with RCTModified for a while just to know how it looks with the entrance huts invisible, and try to learn winhack/hex edit in the mean while, so that you can make them invisible on the normal SV6 file, that way, you have both Everybody can view it, and you have the possibilty to make the entrance huts invisible -

the only reason why i would thik that you would be reluctant not to use modified is the new style of windows and other graphics, the colour pallete etc,
and if you're like me, and dont like the modified graphics, you can deleselect the graphics during installation
otherwise, i would say carry on using modified. -

I think you're confused. Cuz what you're saying is the exact opposite of what makes sense... If I don't have modified installed, then I would be building based off of what everyone else is going to see that doesn't have modified.
That's the problem with modified. If I have it installed, I build based off of what someone who has it will see. The last screens I showed reflect this. I intended to have the flat rides more open, without entrances. But for those who don't have modified (like me right now), the entrances and ride bases show up, screwing up the effect that I was going for. I would love to be able to just sink entrances, which is what most people are doing, I guess... I just need to take the time to learn it. -

Personally, I'd go without. The fact that your work can look so vastly different to anyone not using it is the reason I tried it once and never used it again. It's a nifty little tool and all but unless an overwhelming majority of people are using it to view what you've done with it....it kind of defeats the purpose. Follow your instincts on " I would love to be able to just sink entrances, which is what most people are doing, I guess... I just need to take the time to learn it." and take that route. I think you'll also be more satisfied with what you accomplish by creating basically the same results without RCTM.
Again.....that's just my opinion .
