It says "Ad Astra Per Aspera."
Latin for "To the stars through difficulties" (or "...through adversity" to those in the Royal British Air Force).
Means a lot to me as I have been through A LOT of shit to get to where I am today. -

MA: Not a problem for me...
It's just difficult for me to phrase my mind in English relating to this topic, but great some of you know what I wanted to say. -

Nothing wrong with bands if you do it right.
Yeah but Zepplin's probably your favorite band and you've probably been listening to them for years. Maybe LA and Cleveland aren't the best places to get your perspective on things as far as society goes, but I've met so many people with random band tattoos of bands they hardly like.
For instance
"Dude do you like this band?"
"Eh, I guess they're all right, I've got their logo tattoo on my arm."
This probably doesn't happen anywhere else but I've seen it a few times.
There's nothing wrong with the body modification scene itself (well, there is, but I'm not going to bring that up) but some people piss me off so much.
Also, Blitz, cool down a bit. Are you seriously getting worked up over people getting worked up? -

that's... actually kind of gross =/I once met a girl with a Jack Black tattoo.
I got my second lip piercing today, I have snakebites now. Can't wait for the horseshoe to be put in
Here are two pics. The new one first, then the old one

No, I was actually testing something out. The results of which were pretty illucidating, if unfulfilling. -

Blah blah blahdy blah, you fucking tools.
There isn't anything wrong with body modification, unless the person getting modified thinks it raises their personal worth or "uniqueness" or some other arbitrary trait attached to their pathetically inflated ego or penis or both. Like some guy who's liek: I WANNA SCAR SO GRRLZ WILL THINK IM DANGERIOUS LOL - it just doesn't work that way, and just makes you a WORTHLESS SCAB.
Modification is only respectable if you did it cuz you thought it was neat (which is harmless, s'yer money anyway, bitch) or it meant something to you personally, the point of which isn't for being advertised anyway. Any other reason is just horse shit to make yourself feel special better than the other guy. Chances are, if you got a tattoo for a shitty reason, people will see right through it anyway.
And YOU, dumbasses who are liek OMGZ I WOULD NEVA DOEZ DAT I"M MOER MORAL AN BETERR THAN TAHT LOL!! - Fuck you you fucking uptight holier-than-thou jackass. You are just some child who can't keep his arrogant trap shut, CUZ THE WHOLE WORLD HAS TO KNOW THEY ARE DOIN IT WRONG AMIRITE?! Fuck you, get your head out of your ass and maybe it won't be so full of shit anymore!
Aesthetics are in the eye of the beholder, TATOOS ARE UGLY LOL is just plain ignorant and doesn't add to a conversation ABOUT FUCKING TATOOS. On the other hand, saying OMG TATOOS ARE HAWT doesn't really help either.
This is a cockfest of a topic.
...Which I didn't actually read, but I took a guess as to how it turned/would turn out and made the "scathing commentary on everyone" early to save me and you all the trouble of this turning into 10 pages of pointless dick-wagging, bandwagoning, and pedantry-peddling. So with that out of the way... please continue with your lovely topic. <3
P.S. - gratuitous misspellings are gratuitous.
P.P.S. - A REAL reason to not get a tattoo: it makes you easily identifiable to government agencies. If that is something you lose sleep over duhhhhhhhhhhdon't get a tattoo.
I had'em done because I think they fit my style and because I like the look of it. And because all the emo girls I'm diggin think it's cool. I'm honest, this was one of the reasons.
But I'm 18, it was my money and I'm happy with my piercings. I'm sure I won't have them forever, but right now, I couldn't imagine myself without.
And as for my future tattoos:
The one on my right arm will be my zodiac because I like the design of it and because my birthdate means something to me.
The second one, located on my back, will be a custom design with everything included that is and has been important in my life.
But because our society is all fucked up and won't accept any individuality, I will have them in places that I can put clothes on in everyday life. -

first bolded: Aye... this reason is actually fine with me =3
Though, it would not have been my personal choice, I can't fault a man for "obliging" his harem. Most of my issue with anything at all in the world usually has to do with my irritation for things like egomania, misguided self-righteous interloping, childish sense of entitlement, and self-serving Narcissism. Your reasons don't fall under any of that.
second bolded: Also would not be my personal choice, but this one makes me sad =( I personally would just deal with the negative consequenes on principle. People aren't required to behold my visage. It's on them, not me. On the other hand, if I get tattoos, and I just happened to want them in certain places, and those places just happened to be hidden as long as I'm wearing pants+shirt, then I would certainly reap the benefits without a second thought =3 It just wouldn't take priority over artistic or meaning-based reasons. -

"The coolest tattoo is one that looks cooler the saggier and wrinklier it looks. 'That sack of presents looks even heavier!'"
Seriously though I totally want a crucifix tattooed somewhere. I can't think of any good place for it though. And I'm not old enough.
