We were off the last two days and because it was closed a few days back in the fall when we had a windstorm we are two over now. -

Second day of no school because of a "winter storm." None tomorrow either. Ice on power-lines put many people in the dark for a good portion of the day, myself included. It's interesting: You never know how much you rely on electricity until you go without for 12+ hours. And I'm not talking about TV. I'm talking about the refrigerator, the microwave, and most importantly, the heater. When it's 3F outside, the heater becomes your most desired item. I could actually see my breath today. Inside my house.
That, and we got a few more inches on top of the ice and snow that I mentioned in my last post. It's like, 5 inches total now. -

Yay UK has snow!
We have a foot in Brighton and we're meant to get another foot later today. Huzzah for work being closed! -

They're saying we'll get at least a dusting tonight, and at most 3 inches of snow. Nothing like a couple weeks ago but I'll take it. -

Weather.com's ten-day outlook for DeKalb, IL has "few showers" on next Monday (when I fly in) with a high of 45(!), low 23... Tuesday has a 60% chance of snow showers with a high of 39. Excited.
