More snow this evening. Another four inches. I hope it'll be gone in the next two weeks...

It was Snowbama day in NC/SC, meaning no classes, and I got to watch the inauguration. Good schoolwide snowball fights too.

^Cool indeed. It's strangely sunny here, which doesn't happen much in Michigan during the winder. The snow is still a solid 6-8 inches deep bu we haven't gotten any new powder in about a week, kinda depressing actually.

Several of my fellow students plan to go snowboards on spring break, which is roughly two weeks before any real melt-off; at the end of February (NOT SPRING)...

I'm gonna be in Chicago Feb 10-17th, kinda excited to be back in a big city, and see that place with snow. Kinda not excited for the -12 temperature my friend said she was in last night there, lol. Either way, can't wait.

All we seem to be able to get in Missouri is ice, not snow. It was 20 degrees outside today but somehow all we got was freezing rain. So the entire area is covered in a layer of ice, causing countless wrecks. I don't know how we got so many bad drivers around here.

So you own a ski resort Blitz? Interesting. I could probably find out this information from reading noted wiki, but how did it come to be named Mount Baldy? I've never been skiing, but my wife tells me how awesome it is and how much she loves it from time to time. I'm probably missing a lot.

Snow for me, followed by sleet. It's funny to watch my dogs slide around on the ice and then fall through into the snow. Ice is a lot harder to shovel, though...

I'm assuming you guys have to make it up on a Saturday or holiday or something though. That sucks.

it we have more than 5 snowdays we have to start making them up. there normaly just a day taken off from summer break.
so far this is our 3rd

Yeah I guess that makes sense if you're in an area that snows a lot. I used to have to make up snow days on Saturdays though, which is awful. :\

We start off with a random week off in March and for every snowday we have that break gets shorter
As of now thats gonna be a one day week because today was our first snow day
