snowed lightly all day today.

We had a fire day today, if that counts.

In Beckley (So. WV) we've gotten about 5 inches since last night and we're supposed to get about 3 more through out the day. A lot of counties around us and including us have had school closings.

But in Pocahontas County, which is east of us (not to mention about 1000 feet higher), is supposed to get nearly 20 inches from this.


So... a good start to the season thus far.

Damn, that I won't be in Germany at Christmas, but this year the Christmas break is 3 weeks and so my parents decided to go to Nepal with me
Hope there'll be snow.

Just got more yesterday. It's still not sticking though.

wir sind gerade erst aus leipzig gekommen, und sobald ich wieder beim computer war, hab ich soviele weihnachtslieder gedownloaded

es sieht hier jetzt wirklich schön aus.. und obwohl ich freue mich schon auf weihnachten, ich kriege ihretwegen (richtig? oder nicht - das ist ein fremdes wort, hab grad nachgeguckt) ein bisschen heimweh naja geht so. wofür sind denn neue erlebnisse, wenn nicht um sich selbst zu verbessern, ne?

kinda rude just to speak german though, so:

we just came home from leipzig, and as soon as i was in front of the computer again, i downloaded a whole bunch of christmas songs. it's really beautiful here now and while i'm really looking forward to christmas, i'm getting kind of homesick because of it. but oh well.. what are new experiences for if not to better yourself, right?

I wish mine would stick.

nope, it's a rule in my organization. can't go home unless for good, and there's no way in hell i'm going home early!

and although this month of december might be hard, i think i'd rather have it that way; i'm not going to be spending every christmas of my life with my family.. i gotta get used to the feeling and experience something new!

I just got some yesterday, and it stuck! (It was gone by noon, though.)

I've got about 5 cm of snow... And IT'S FREAKING COLD OUTSIDE! Dang, I'll have to wait for the bus when it's -10C...

Snow fell off and on all day yesterday. We only ended up with maybe 3 inches. Of course, I was supposed to be hanging christmas lights on the house last night, made it real interesting getting up on the slippery roof...

No snow, just ice.

As long as there is snow in February. Just booked my skiing holidays. *yay*

Today it sort of snowed here for about 10 minutes, but the snow was melting as soon as it hit the ground.

Not much snow here in Australia, seeing that it's summer but i don't get any anyway.
