Topped off at about 18 inches, I think, but it's hard to tell where one snowfall begins and another ends.

Texas is to lame for snow.
Bahaha, if only you had waited.
Dallas had about 6 or so inches now. Supposed to continue to the end of tonight, so about 9 inches in total.
It's barely cold enough to freeze, so we have a wet snow, which tonight, all the slush on the roadways will freeze and I won't have to go to work tomorrow because this is Texas and we can't handle very much... -

Whoa, screw that noise, Midnight. Snow drifts are terrible. I'll never forget the six foot drift over my car one year; it was ridiculous.
In other news, my mother is fucked and had me wake up at 5AM to shovel four inches before she had to leave for work today. Awesome. -

It's supposed to snow here tonight; they're forecasting 1-3 inches for inland areas. I doubt it'll happen, though. The last snowfall we had here was 1989 and I barely remember that one. Driving's going to be a pain tonight if it does snow; drivers here have a problem when water falls from the sky so having snow and ice is going to make the roads a death trap. -

^^ You've got your heater set at 10C? That's your problem! Crank that sucker up to 20C, at least!
If it's 10C outside... that's not cold. I could wear shorts if it's only 10C outside. (10C is about 50F, BTW.)
@MA: Who the hell has their windshield wipers sticking straight up? It looks ridiculous. -

Spray them with a deicing solution if they freeze. That's what I always do.Its to keep them from freezing to the glass.
We're expected to get up to six inches tonight. -

It's starting to get ridiculous here in Sweden. I'm not sure how they measure the snow depth but we haven't shoveled any snow at all in our back yard and there it's over 3 feet high. We also have over 2 feet long icicles hanging from the roof, if anyone gets one of these in their head they'll probably die. We'll be removing them tomorrow when we head up on the roof to remove some snow. We live in a terrace house with a flat roof so the snow pressure is pretty dangerous, several rooves have already fallen in, mostly the rooves of tennis halls and such. The houses around this area of Sweden are certainly not built for this amount of snow. Some friends of our family is currently stuck in the traffic, on their way to our place, apparently there's so much snow on the road they're on that they have to wait for it to be moved. Me and my family were also driving home today, we've been skiing, and in some places the snow piles beside the roads were higher than the machines making them, 3,5 metres or so. I have never experienced this much snow in my entire life, and my parents say that last time they did was when they were small children. So yeah we're having our own little new ice age over here -

Snowed about an inch last night, and this morning it was sleeting then it went to freezing rain... Looking outside I can see theres a layer of ice on the street with tons of large branches on it.
Shit like this seems to only happen on the weekends. -

...Or you could just put them up and save your time and money. And probably the environment. But whatever floats your boat...Spray them with a deicing solution if they freeze. That's what I always do.
We're expected to get up to six inches tonight. -

This is a rather large bump but winter is almost here again.
Snowing in Minnesota at a cool 34 degrees F; looks like 2-3 inches have gathered so far. First snow of the 2010-2011 winter here!
