it was 21 degrees in Miami today. those poor, poor people.

anyway, we're getting anywhere from barely any to 2 inches tomorrow. we only have like 3 inches right now.

^Yeah I think so too. I just don't understand all the cold weather if it's global warming. Irony.

The global *average* is warming. Which means the climate systems overcompensate with more severe cold weather.

Also: snowing here. Again. Winter can go fuck off now.

Here in Minnesota we have about 18" and the low temps these past few days have often dropped off to around -20 degrees Fahrenheit, with windchill as low as -30 F. WeatherBug labeled these as "life-threatening". Brutal, to say the least.

On a warmer note, the cold spell seems to be coming to an end as the high Saturday is 10 F, and 30 F on Wednesday.

I just got back from a ski trip in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where we got a shitload of snow on Tuesday, which made for excellent powder for skiing on Wednesday. Back here in the Fort, it doesn't appear to have snowed much while I was gone. It is just really cold here...around -5 degrees Fahrenheit. Got frostbite on my hands when walking back from the bus drop off to the apartment even with wearing gloves. I'll be spending the rest of my break in Golden, so hopefully it won't be quite so cold there.

Seriously can this weather piss off now? I hate winter with a passion, even more now seeing as we have crappy weather. urgh.

Meh I love winter and I love how much disruption snow causes to our pathetic country, I wonder how all those countries who have snow for 9 months or more of the year cope... It's pathetic really that the whole country stops because of a bit of snow.

Because those countries have so much snow they are used to it and therefore no chaos happens where as here we arent used to it hence the chaos.
Mainly due to council's not gritting the roads.

Seriously though, I hate winter. I can't cope with these conditions.

It ought to be about 12 inches (According to the forecast), but it's only one at the moment...

Wolverines don't have snow days! Tis beautiful though with all the snow stuck to the trees right now... 22 degrees and a 14 mph wind chill. Fun stuff.
