I can beat your 4 inches. When it snowed before christmas we had it worse in the UK with 8-10 inches

first ever snow day tomorrow. we got sent home early and we dont go back tomorrow
im buzzed.

I hate snow but I dont want to do 6 hours of Maths 2moro so i'm kinda not sure what to wish for

Tis pretty much constantly snowing in good ol' Yorkshire. School finished early today, and we're probably not going in tomorrow, which is saying something. My school hasn't had a snow day in 18 years.

4 inches in the last 20minutes

I went to the beach today and there was snow on the sand and ice floating on the sea! We never normally get more than a tiny sprinkle of snow here but it's been snowing for three weeks and it's almost a foot deep in central Edinburgh. The novelty has definitely worn off. Now it's just a nightmare trying to get anywhere...

So I left for college this morning in 4 inches of snow. Drove all the way there because it was open. There were 3 of us in my textiles class. After that they closed the college and I drove back to find 8 inches of snow.

And the thing that pissed me off? Brighton had more snow than Worthing (where my college is), yet it seemed that the only people that made an effort to get in were those from further away and the people a 5 minute walk away didnt bother. Urgh.

This winter sucks. Already two storms with about a total of 12 inches.

Meh. I have to travel from Garforth to Armley to get to work, usually takes me 20mins but this week it's taken almost 2 hours on a couple of days, it's just silly. My manager said to me this morning "when do you plan on arriving for work on time?".....oh yeh, once you use your magical powers and fixed the weather.

I live in Florida, so we NEVER get snow but the forecast I read yesterday said there is a 40% chance of snow here Friday night. Not a guarantee, but my sister and I are going to stay up all night just to see if it does...

Yeah, I live on the opposite side of Leeds to you, and it's just as bad here. I live 10 minutes from school on the bus. This morning it took me 1 and a half hours to get there. It's ridiculous. Plus, all the councils are running out of grit haha.

We hit -17.5 last night.

And they say it might be -20 tomorrow night. Eek.

^Yeah I think so too. I just don't understand all the cold weather if it's global warming. Irony.
