strangely enough, this ^ is considered a foundation of logical principle.
Same with: if A = B, and B = C, then A = C. Or If A > B, and B > C, then A > C. Just plain obvious, of course. =3

Problem with it is
Santa Clause is a Man A=B
Man is real B=C
So Santa is real? A=C
But I guess cos
Santa isnt real A doesn't equal C

Correction: he's a fictional character BASED on a real man (saint nicholas).
