im sorry robbie, i cant say i like that ride.
    its really big :/
    as in tall
is the landscape gonna be up close to the taller parts?
  • RMM%s's Photo
it looks okay. the only part i don't like is the whole stretch with the first corksrew.
from the drop before it to the turnaround after it. i know the rct limits can make it hard but yea.

    Hi all!

As you know, I'm working on a re-do of this park, so there'll be updates here once again, starting with this one. I really liked the way RCTNW advertised the layout of his floorless for HAA, so I wanted to do a similar thing for my layouts for BGA, though not all of them. I've also seen this tactic used many times w/ NL designs and it's equally as interesting to me.

May I present my first layout, for the park's invert:

The landscaping and themeing around this will make or break it. It's definately got potential!

In my opinion the layout is creative, but not that interesting, difficult to explain and i truely look forward to what's coming...

    Layout is good.
Just the blockbrake is placed in a very shitty way.
Maybe try a helix or something right after the Cobra-roll and lead
the track then up to the blockbrake.

It's a decent layout Robbie, but it looks like you tried too much on getting the pacing, than getting a great layout. I can see some Alpengeist-inspired parts, correct? But as people have said, your landscaping acound it will make or break it.

<3 the layout, looks really modern & cool. :)

    Okay, so the reply.

The layout looks a lot better in game, at least according to Kumba :D. The pacing is also good in my opinion, and I personally think it flows quite well. I also do enjoy the alyout. I don't mean to sound like a dick, but I like the layout. I'm sure people will like it more once they get a chance to see it ingame with the supports, theming, and landscaping. However, thanks for your comments.

Oh, it's slightly changed anyways, to make some transitions smoother....

Can we have a picture of it in-game?

    So... plans.

I intend for this to be a two-park project. Both will be similar, but different in some ways. The first map will be BGA in the year 1999. The second will be 2009. The main differences between these maps will be coasters. There'll be some new ones in the 2009 one, as well as ones that existed in 1999 but were demolished by 2009. Also, some theming might be slightly altered, flats added or demolished, restaurants added or demolished, and maybe a new area or two popping up. I'll probably do a brochure for each. Anyways these are my plans for the park(s). Please leave any comments on the idea or suggestions...

Well I'm glad its not just another 2 map project and that its just like a little extension as these multi-map projects seem to be cropping up a lot lately and I'm getting a bit sick of them plus I just dont think they are gonna get finished.

However with this its a bit different, will be interesting to see the changes between each map, also if you finish the first then you are extremely close to finishing the second so it makes it more likely both maps will be completed.

    Good luck.

Do a Morgan hyper coaster. Nobody builds those anymore (And rarely did in the first place).

^ all in good time ;)

i think your plan sounds great i just hope you can finsh it.

    Request time!

In the 1999 version of BGA, I plan on having a Drachen-Fire-style coaster. However, that ride is one I'm not so great at. So, to compensate, I wanna ask if anyone would be interested in making a coaster for the park. I have someone already building a design for me in the 2009 section, so I wanted one in the 1999 section.

    Requirements:
    --Wraparound corkscrew
    --100-125 ft tall
    --Cobra roll
    --Cutback
    --Block brakes system

That's about it. If you are interested, please say so in the topic and PM me your layout. Once I get one I really, really like, I'll announce it and start on the theming. Please, I would love to have someone help me with this!
