Yet you want to deprive victims of rape/incest of their right to abortion (to rid them of their problem).because I'm not a rightkiller.

ugh. I'm not getting in to white privilege and all that crap. But whether or not it's "a side effect of by-gone days" or not still doesn't make it right.
and you're not a rightkiller... unless it's killing rights for those "faggots."
And I never "wanted" to be gay. It's not a choice. Why would I choose something where I have to endure bigotry from people like you? What makes it okay that I should I have to live like second class citizen, hiding my affection for my partner because you're felt uncomfortable about it?
Please. Throw out your bible because it's doing nothing by hateful things for you, Kevin. -

but you are still depriving the rights. you are a rightkiller. you are a hypocrite.
yet you focus on a minor mistake from my point because you are too afraid to admit that i have a good overall point. -

Because they are unnecessary. If nobody had guns, I wouldn't need an AK47 to protect myself. You want a rifle? Go nuts. I don't support hunting, but I understand why rednecks might want to.What if people want semiautomatic weapons just for the sake of it? Even if ONE PERSON wanted to have a semiautomatic weapon and not do anything, I think they have the right, because I'm not a rightkiller.
If you an AK-47, then the car jackers wouldn't scare you.
I agree, but just because something is not healthy, THIS IS FREE SOCIETY!! We can do what we want, so long as we don't infringe on other rights!!
Nobody can come up with a single reason to have a gun, outside of war, that can shoot bullets that fast. Nobody. Except "I JUST WANT IT!" Americans are greedy enough.
Would you consider Britain not to be a free society? They've long since banned guns.
I'm going to start a new trend here, Kev. Anytime you say something fucking stupid, I'm going to respond to as such, with out any kind of argumentation. You ignore our posts regularly, so it shouldn't be a problem if we do the same to you. See the following:What more needs to be said? Brilliant post. 11/10
It was 97%?? I knew it was high but....fuck, why couldn't McCain have been the black one??
You're a fucking idiot.
Yes.Are you serious? Mind you, some were more serious than others, and some just said it because it's kind of expected.
And to your second part, what does that say about the idiots voting for McCain because he's Christian and Against Obama because he's "Muslim"?
The first sentence is true because of the second. While they might not be consciously aware of what they're doing, ignorance is no fucking excuse.Wait, you think that whites are PURPOSELY trying to keep a good number of black people inpoverished in the middle city? As it opposed to it being a tragic side-effect of days gone by?
You're a fucking idiot. How interesting, the WORST two democrats imo. w/e
You're a fucking idiot. That's the problem, my American friends. You are far to dependent on other countries, so you try to make OTHER countries happy.
Let me start this off by saying, you're a fucking idiot. One second. I think that YOU are opressing US.
Parents have the right to decide what their children learn, and not be arrested. There was guy, David Parker I think, who wanted his kid to not hear about faggotry and got ARRESTED. He didn't say, "Don't teach this," he only wanted his own kid not to here it, the school officials essentially told him that he had no rights at the school.
More importantly, I would say that kids should be taught 1 man 1 woman 1 lifetime in schools, but if they grow up and think they wanna be gay, if they subtly go to their bfs house and have sex in the basement, since I'm completely opposed to surveillence, I guess that'd be alright. And don't say they wouldn't learn about gayness in other ways, it's fucking everywhere.
Secondly, that sounds a hell of a lot like"don't teach this." I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to that story if it got him arrested. Perhaps he got violent and belligerent about it? I guess those details are unimportant in your world, because the faggots won!
I think we should cut off your balls and your tongue, so you cannot contaminate the rest of the world. Your opinion is a message of hate and intolerance, and you deserve to be put in a room with no windows with 20 large black and gay men. Let's see what they think of your ultimate solution.
The Confederate flag will ALWAYS be associated with racism, because its government seperated from the United States BECAUSE they wanted abolish slavery, among other reasons.Nobama. That's brilliant. On the other hand, calling him a n***** is a terrible thing, as it implies he is evil b/c he is black, which is not why. At all. Also, I hate when people STILL associate the Confederate flag with racism, these Kluxers make me fucking sick.
Oh, and you're a fucking idiot. -

Look up the "Gracias al Secar". Processes in which the king of Spain could "whiten" a person of mixed or ambiguous racial heritage, and give them all the rights and priveledges of such. The Americas have a 520 year history of white priveledge. It doesn't just dissapear. No, I want to preserve the right to life. And be incested is not a vitctimization, unless it's also a rape, in which case saying incest is superfluous.
White priveledge = bullshit. All I meant was that whites used to be brutal to black people, I mean, I am taking a History of the Americas class right now, because I need a humanities "context credit" and the European history class was full, and we learned about the slave trade and the slave ships and it's truly disgusting.
Look, buddy, fuck you. In no way does your mood EVER justify you doing ANYTHING hateful and spiteful, and I doubt anyone will accept your appology.Sorry for saying "faggotry" I'm just in a bad mood, look at this way, if McCain won you'd prolly be a little testy yourself.
Jesus taught unconditional love of everyone. It's not for you to decide who is unworthy of love.I meant to say, "I understand your problem and will be praying for you, and not showing hate, because hatred of people is no good, unless they are a child molestor, and I doubt you are one, because saying a homosexual is also a boy molestor is the biggest and worst slippery slope, possibly ever, and anyone who does is not helping anybody, even themselves, and so anyones, I will show you love, but not eros love, but, rather, brotherly love, so, how's it going, pal?" Sorry, I can be harsh and terrible at times.
Again, I do not have hate, at least for people, I hate THINGS though. I don't even hate Barack Obama, I only sometimes lose control of myself and say I do, then again, if he actually is the Antichrist, I do hate him, but, now that he is President and I am still posting here and not getting a microchip implanted in my forehead and my DNA being sent to a DNA database and police coming to take me to jail for no reason whatosever, I guess he's acutally probably not. My bad.

what the hell is wrong with california? i thought they were the totally rad and hip liberal state?
Orange County. Orange County is whats wrong with California. I had the misfortune of being born into this shithole of conservatism and plan on leaving as soon as I can. Seriously, in places yes on prop 8 signs are every five feet. Its just fucking overkill and bullshitting over nothing.
To me, the law is either religious leaders trying to control politics, or completely useless bullshitting over one word. Not only do I see the law as a step towards supressing minorities, but even to theocracy. Before people like Kevin jump to the conclusions and try to say that would be great, look at a country Im sure you hate, Iran. Religious law is political law. Yes, marriage began as a religious ceremony, but when it became political, those religious people who cared should have spoken out against that. The second it becomes a political issue, equality is a necessity. I would support the right for individual churches to refuse the right to marry gays if they dont support it, it can be done in court. But keep your religion the fuck out of politics.
And if it is just an issue of one word and what it means, as so many who support it say, then its a complete waste. Many people say, "the definition of marriage is between a man and a woman, gays can get civil unions which are just the same if they want, but no marriage." I have never seen people so passionate about a political issue around here, but why is the definition of one word so important? I cant see the quality of peoples lives being significantly affected, by knowing that the title of a contract of a paper somewhere says 'marriage' instead of 'civil union' for a gay couple. Dont we have more important issues to worry about? Im sure that if our economy goes completely to shit, our money is worth nothing, and people are struggling just to get food because we were too busy bullshitting about completely frivelous laws, our priorities will change a little. But what am I thinking? Nobody in Orange County has to worry about the economy because were under a huge fucking glass bubble of wealth and morality. So we have plenty of room to dick around with peoples morals.
At least with Obama as president now, and a predominantely liberal legislature, theres some chance the prop will get totally owned by some branch of the federal government by those who base their opinions off more than 10 second commercials and plastic signs. -

Wait, so we should let parents decide what is taught in school, but, nah, let's just teach kids what you want them to be taught, that marriage is between one man and one woman. Which is it? Hm, I think a marriage is a loving commitment between 2 people. Why do you get to decide what is taught but I don't, again? Of course, we could just not teach either, since there was NOTHING IN THE PROPOSITION ABOUT TEACHING KIDS ANYTHING IN SCHOOLS. Ya know, I don't think that interracial couples should get married, does that trump the constitution as well? It used to.On the other hand, calling him a n***** is a terrible thing, as it implies he is evil b/c he is black, which is not why. At all. Also, I hate when people STILL associate the Confederate flag with racism, these Kluxers make me fucking sick.
1) Do you seriously believe Obama is evil? In what context, that he has ill intentions towards America?
2) Do you disagree that the Confederacy was inherently racist? Why is it a shock to you that this is viewed as a symbol of racism? The great thing is you can believe the symbol represents whatever you want, and others can (reasonably) continue to believe its a symbol of racism. -

I think WHOEVER won the race is faced with one helluva mess and BOTH parties are to blame.
Change is a good theme, just look at how many politicians have used it over the past few years.
Clinton, the Repubs in 94, Bush, Bush, the Dems in 06 & Obama!!
(see a trend here?? maybe a political strategy??)
Everyone vows to change D.C., yet so far no one has delivered on it.
My advice to EVERYONE is to investigate your candidates.
Don't trust the talking heads on the tube or the radio, do some work and see where they stand for yourself.
You'll be surprised how often you vote for the lesser of two evils, instead of actually voting FOR someone.
But, hey I'm a skeptic on just about everyone and everything.

Not being 'taught' about gays will make no difference, all it does it not prepare the child for the real world and it makes no difference what so ever cos kids will talk about it, the tv will talk about it, and if someone is gay, not being taught about gayness will make no difference. -

If some atheist wants their kid to learn some evolution fairy tale, they can find a private atheist school or homeschool.
I don't live in CA I'm not talking about Prop 8, which it sounds like a good thing from little I know, I'm talking about generally.
1) Yes. Yes.
2) No. Watch the Dukes of Hazzard, a fun TV show from the 80s. Look at Southern towns today. Confederate flags everywhere, racists hiding in the forest, away from tolerance of black people.
MA I'll post back to you're double wall of text later, prolly tomorrow.
How do you not get this?
If YOU want YOUR KIDS learning YOUR definition of marriage or your religious beliefs, then YOU can send them to a private religious nutjob school or homeschool. You used that same logic so I'm assuming mine is valid too?
Please provide some support to the claim that Obama is intentionally planning to harm America.
And does the 'no' indicate that the confederacy was not in fact a racist nation? It's a straightforward question. Were they 'colorblind'?
I obviously haven't been active on these boards for a while and this is really the first I'm seeing of you, but I'm 95% sure that you are leveling us with your persona. It's pretty funny, actually, nice job. The Lucius Malfoy avatar really completes the gimmick account. -

So it's a question, really, of who, atheists or Christians, gets the general public? Hmmm
Bingo! And there's more than just Christians and Atheists - there's tons of other religions. I could make one up right now and insist that it be taught in public schools. Or say that something that is taught in public schools violates those beliefs and thus my child shouldn't be exposed to that. And we agree that this would be ridiculous. Is there a way to decide which out of these infinite sets of religious beliefs should be taught to our children? YES - don't teach them religion, and instead teach science (hint, just because your religion teaches something that disagrees with principals largely accepted by the scientific community does not exempt this topic from being good science. And no, you are in high school, you don't know what good science is.) I suppose I'm making an assumption with the high school part.
Good, you can't support this stance. Let's rephrase your stance to: "I believe that Obama's policies will harm America", which is miles away from "I believe that Obama is advocating certain policies specifically because it is his goal and intention to harm the nation, not because he genuinely believes they are correct".I can't. The very reasons most of you support him (anti fully automatic weapons, pro infant murder (abortion), pro "redistributing wealth") are the reasons I feel this way.
That's okay. I perfectly understand that the confederacy had qualities other than just slavery, but at the same time its perfectly reasonable to associate the south with slavery and you shouldn't be surprised or angry when people connect this symbol to racism. No, the Confederacy was racist, sorry for being unclear.
Wait, "levelling" you? You think I'm fucking around here? You think this is a joke?
No I'm serious.
I happen to like the character of Lucius Malfoy, if that's alright with you. I enjoy reading HP, in fact I am rereading the series right now to make myself feel better after this election. The reason is, I am not one of those Christians who randomly decides "Witchcraft is evil [true]. Harry Potter uses witchcraft [false in reality]. Therefore, harry Potter is evil." This syllogism FAILS because IT'S MOTHERFUCKING FICTION!!!!!! Honestly, how many kids read the book and become Satanists or wiccans BECAUSE of this book? Like, zero or something? Maybe some 5-year-old'll read it and say Wingardium Leviosa and be disappointed when their teddy bear doesn't fly away, but that doesn't mean they're going to sell their soul to the devil. Honestly, just because something is evil in REALITY (witchcraft, c.f., The Old Testament), it's not evil in ficion (honestly, why do you think movies were invented, so we could enjoy gratuitous violence without anyone being actually hurt, of course). So before you say "Lol1zz Kev1n 3nns is 4 Christian 4nd l1k3s h4rry p0773r so h3s a hyp0cr173!!!111111111!!!!!!" relax, and fix your grammer.
Didn't read this, but saw the fix your grammar (was the misspelling of grammar intentional? Very nice, again). This is fun. -

kevin:
you fucking idiot (good idea MA)
1)NO WHERE IN PROP 8 DOES IT STATE THAT FACTS ABOUT SAME-SEX MARRIAGE WOULD BE TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS. IT'S BULLSHIT PROPAGANDA. PERIOD.
No really, some shiesty shit happened in vermont, and the case was dealt with. Then the assholes at protectmarriage.com decided to take the incident and go "OMG THIS COULD HAPPEN HERE (while not actually saying it happened in a different state), YOU SHOULD VOTE YES ON THIS COMPLETELY UNRELATED PROP IF YOU DONT WANT IT TO HAPPEN HERE!"
...
ALSO!
There are ALREADY LAWS ON THE BOOKS that prevent teachers from teaching anything having to do with marriage, gay OR straight, in ANY classroom. That is why the ENTIRE FUCKING EDUCATION SECTOR was like "...wtf? We don't teach that shit in our classes... hey people! Vote NO!".
SO... what does the prop do?
oh, nothing... EXCEPT STOP SAME-SEX COUPLES FROM HAVING THE SAME RIGHTS AS OPPOSITE-SEX COUPLES! (Yes, this is, literally, ALL that it does. No "implications" no "degradation of society, just the trampling of the rights of decent'r folk than YOU).
You probably think that's fine? I thought you were FOR rights! Ok, you get your gun, and me? I GET TO SEE MY MOTHER FUCKING LOVED ONE WHEN THEY END UP IN THE MOTHER FUCKING HOSPITAL (note: a right not presently offered through civil unions aka: "domestic partnership"...ridiculous and cruel).
FURTHERMORE:
This is about freedom of religion, too. Instead of it being case of "sorry, it's against my religion to marry you two, go somewhere else", it's now a case of "sorry, it's against the LAW!"
Notice in the FIRST case, the person marrying them has the religious freedom to marry the two, or not to. It's HIS right, and it's HIS right how he interprets what HIS religion states on the matter as it harms no one and breaks no other law or infringes upon any other right. Period.
In the SECOND case, you've barred this right from them, and NO ONE can EVER marry them! They have no way to receive the rights of a married couple they so deserve (and mind you, probably deserve MORE SO than most STRAIGHT couples which USUALLY end up DIVORCED ANYWAY. OH, and that's ALSO against the teachings of the bible. MOTHER FUCKING CHRISTIAN HYPOCRITES! PEOPLE WHO VOTE YES FOR PROP 8 AREN'T REAL CHRISTIANS! HATE THE SIN, NOT THE SINNER MOTHER FUCKER!)
"oh, but blitz, they can just get a civil union! buh boo boo hoooo..."
bullshit.
Civil unions don't even afford HALF the rights married couples get, INCLUDING visiting rights in hospitals. You know, for when your loved one gets the EVER LOVING SHIT BEAT OUT OF THEM BY PREJUDICE IGNORANT FUCKS LIKE YOU.
YOU don't want "rights"... YOU aren't FOR "rights"... YOU just want to do what YOU want to do, and YOU just want to have whatever YOU want to have, and FUCK EVERYONE ELSE!
