No one who says this ever comes up with someone better. Ron Paul? Maybe. -

Obama's a baller. He was even running in pick-up games today. Also he's against lobbyists, which I really like. Also normally black people are angry, so now they can be happy.
All he needs now is California to make it final, along with like two others. McCain could win like 18 of 21 of the states left and he'd still lose! -

Kevin_Enns, check Youtube for videos on McCain. You'll see why people don't want to vote for McCain anymore. -

nope, i like his views. i used to like McCain's views, but they've changed quite a bit imo.
Obama being black is just a benefit. he's making history. but that's not why i would vote for him. -

Earlier this year, many people went on national television saying "I don't think our country is ready for a black president." What does that tell you abou the notions of superiority that we have internalized?OBAMA WINS MOTHERFUCKERS!!! YAAAAAAAA

When school's desegregated, after only a year, the amount of whites supporting desegregated schools doubled. I'll look up the actual statistics if anyone needs. This, while seemingly mundane, is actually an amazingly important step forward in racial equality. -

i dont get elections though, because its the Electorial votes that count, so peoples votes dont count at all. like with Bush & Gore, more people voted for gore, but bush won because he got more electorial votes. if u ask me thats bullshit. Whats even the point of voting for prez if your vont dosnt change one goddamn fuckin thing!
Kevin_EnnsAnyways, in four years when your "great" nation is in hell America, don't come crying to me
Realy? your saying america isnt already in hell?Edited by marsh, 04 November 2008 - 10:50 PM.

I know that Obama is "just another politician" but I am legitimately excited. Americans have spoken and we don't want our country going down the path that Bush/idiot-hick-nutjobs set for us. And even if this doesn't usher in reforms and good times for all (the economy is in serious trouble regardless of the election), at least Americans won't have to be embarrassed about their nationality when they travel abroad. And that's big. I don't want to be ashamed of how backwards my nation is, and now I don't have to be.
This feels really good.
Now let's see if he can manage to implement some of these reforms while keeping the US Govt' from going bankrupt. -
