I've at no time said I was smart. I've only said you're pretty dumb.I think it's cool that smart people play RCT, it just doesn't seem like a psychologist thing.
And you are probably much smarter than me, but I will give you some career advice: Don't show up to work drunk. You have made several comments in the past about how drunk you get; People will not like this. Also, the "your mom" jokes will have to be subsided. Here on the forums you can say awful things to me and I will get upset and we'll all laught about it afterwards (over beer lmfao) but if some paranoid/help-needing old person comes in and says "Could you help me with my loneliness problems?" or something and you say "I helped your mother with her lonliness problems last night" that won't be cosnidered good and you will lose that client, and probably more via wom.
MA I did not say you were trying to help me, yet it appears now you will. Thanks for the change. btw, I said you were using me as a lab rat, metaphorically.
Yeah, but you think my opinons are lies and your's truths, I just don't like beating around the bush. I just set you up to say,"I beat around your mother's bush last night," but I would be interested to know if you were going to say so until I pointed it out; This would show a bad disposition. LOL now YOU'RE THE EXPERIMENTEE jk.
That Facebook site was a joke, trading such insults is what I like to do with my friends LOL it's all a motherfucking joke. Anyways, if it "hurts" you to be insulted by me b/c of that, maybe YOU should see because of that.
Congratulations on earning $200.00 an hour in ten years, I admire you for that and hope you build a house in a small town's outskirts that seems obnoxiously large with that money and drive expensive cars!!!!!!
Manipulation is at best immoral, and at worst illegal and unethical. Happy go nuts, though, dude. You gotta do what you gotta do to push that agenda. -

I'm just going to throw this out here: This topic should be closed and/or deleted. We're not even arguing about McCain and Obama anymore. There's like, four pages of religious arguments, and a butt load of Kevin's very confusing posts. When will we realize that there is no getting through to him?
I humbly request that a moderator or admin close this topic. Or make me a moderator so I can close it. Just find some way to get rid of it. It reeks of shitpileness. -

Intelligent discussions reek of shitpile? I don't see why threads are closed everytime they stray off topic. That's what discussions are for. -

So some guy handed me a McCain sticker today. Long story short: It makes no mention of Palin. Anyone find that as interesting as I do? -
tracidEdge Offline
Yeah. Maybe it was old, every single sign I've seen for that ticket has been McCain/Palin. -

A Christian believes that mankind is saved via believing that Jesus died on the Cross for them personally. Jesus certainly believed this, elsewise he WOULD have called down the Angels and destroyed the Romans. Obviously He doesn't need to be saved, but He does realize what He did saved people like me
I'm sorry but I am dying of laughter. The stupidity and one-sided views of any extremist is out of this world. -

hmmm...
For what it's worth, since Kevin has preached enough, I'll indulge his spiritual nature for a moment...
My personal "belief" ,if you will, is that a lot more of reality is connected than we humans can perceive, and that religions aren't necessarily wrong, but that they are naturally occurring phenomenon which derive from this notion: of that which can not be observed. The mind naturally fills in blanks (like an ethos of conscious activity programmed into us from a very basic level), and could actually have a profound impact on the fabric of reality itself in what we call "consciousness", which would explain fear of death, control/survival instincts(domination of man/status/life/self), insecurity/paranoia/anxiety, social structure/government, Ego/Superego/Id, etc.
In a sense, there seems to me to be a gradient between that which is real, and that which is imagined to be, in such a way that our consciousnesses are like an electrical current following the path of least resistance through all existing dimensional states--hence logic.
It always strikes me that the INFINITE is actually quite normal. The miracle is that from infinity, there seems to emerge something that could be considered FINITE.
I know that probably sounds silly to some people, but to me, I don't have a belief in anything outside my realm of observation (knowing a chair is going to be there when you sit down is a question of trust, not belief, just to verify pre-emptively).
Having said that, I simply spend most of my waking hours pondering what's possibly there, and observing how my mind fills in the gaps...
on topic: mccain sticker was just old. -

This is digging a bit, but...
The statistics are largely flawed by volunteer bias. In a large part of America, it's not healthy -- in terms of career, social life, and in some cases physical safety -- to admit to atheism. *Technically* it shouldn't matter, but in the Southern US, not adhering to the expected, God-fearing norm is a quick way to get ostracized.I find it strange that 88% of The US considers themselves to be religious, yet almost this whole site seems to be atheist? I know some of you are not from America, but still.
