I'd rather not have a contest. By having a contest it will distract me from what I need to finish, WDS. -

The admins will approach the idea of a context when they have the time to do it. -

Mmmmm yeah like the community gets to vote who would be the most dynamic partnerships then the 5 voted teams of partners would have a deadline to send in the best design possible. It's quick, easy and could be done within two months. It wouldn't be anything major just fill the craving for the contest that we all want.
By the time you completed all your park plans you are already 70+, so I think it will be good for your heart if you would calm down a bit.

A team-contest would be something I would join... I would call my team "the flashmasters", who would be with me...? -

most likely, yeah. i'm searching my house relentlessly for the recovery disk, though, and if i can get the computer back up, it should be okay. -

just put your hd in a other computer which has windows running then you can acces it and recover the files from it.
else make a ubuntu boot disk and boot in linux. then add a usb harddisk and copy the files to there. -

Best sculpture contest. Built on a micropark map. That should be a contest we can get a lot of people to enter. -

Hi-Rollers 2
- Everyone is allowed to enter
- Allowing duos
- Obilgatory bench, with a few open slots for parkdatting.
- Accolade panel judging
- lasting 4-5 months
- Allowing a second entry from the participants, if it's made with a different game version (for example a LL entry and a RCT2 entry, but not two LL entries)
- A 'price'. Perhaps money, but preferably something NE-related.
The 'two entries' rule could probably increase the number of LL entries. Hardcore LL-ers would do LL anyway. I'm playing mostly RCT2, but I would certainly try something in LL. Probably more people will. -

So I think we agree Liampie.. Not sure about the NE-Parkmaker prices.. I think Spotlights are the best way to determine if a non-parkmaker is NE-Parkmaker worthy.Duo-Rollers?
Everyone is allowed to enter.
Signing up in pairs before the start of the building phase/workbench release.
Parkmakers would build in pairs to get an entry in before the deadline.
There is a workbench, but the duo's are allowed to create their own bench (for artistic freedom).
There are no rules, other than the entry must be received before the deadline, there can only be 2 parkmakers working on the park, no previously started parks can be used and there must be build within the given workbench tiles (blacktiles do not count in order for fantasy parkmakers duo's to go out of boundaries )..
I think that would be a good contest idea for in the future, as people can work in pairs which reduces the workload and would result in more entries completed, and parkmakers can motivate each other.. Besides, the social aspect is a nice feature which you don't have in solo projects..

I think honor still is the best price, and recognition.. It would be a major achievement to beat current parkmakers at this site, because the level never was as high as it is now imo..

Reading through this topic and the JDP's other Parkmaker topic makes becoming a Parkmaker seem increasingly unattainable to me...
