Soooo...my wife and I are getting back into RCT, and have bought the RCT2 +TT pack at Best Buy. I loaded TT onto my comp, and it won't let me load any of the special TT parks (Future World, etc..). I am running Vista, if that means anything.
It says something to the effect of "Missing Object File: could not open".
Any help would be awesome. I honestly don't mind if it is a POS exp., I just wanna play. lol
THANKS!! -

are rct2 and tt on separate discs? if yes, then i say dont bother with tt. its not worth the hassle. -

Okay...so....unless it's all on the same disc (like the original RCT deluxe) just don't bother with it?
Cool...I can do that I guess. Thanks for all the help. -

WW and TT don't add that much extra.
they only add some new objects and rides, and those new objects and rides are crap.
if you want some new things it's easier to download some parks from this site. when you open them they will install the new objects in your game automaticly. -

Yeah, most the "new" rides they "add" are ****ing ripoffs. Almost every single one, in fact, I think absolutely every one, of the tracked rides, i.e., roller coasters, at least, is already in RCT2. It's just a different train.
For instance, WW adds the "fearsome" Great White Shark Ride. Great. It's just a ****ing Corkscrew coaster with a different train.
Frankly, if they honestly couldn't think of any new RC types, and that's possible, given that most things (besides Dive Machines?) are in RCT2, it would have been more honest to add in new trains, i.e. a Great White Shark Train.
I have TT and I can not think of any roller coater or water ride that is not a standard one without a ((usually) ridiculous) themed car.
Even the flat rides succumb to this, often, most of them do the exact same ****ing thing as a normal one, but with some stupid thing added on top or whatever.
They add new scenery, the only real advantage.
