I was wondering how everyone manages there Object Files. I always have so much object data from downloading parks that I often have duplicates and I can never find what I want when I'm trying to make a park.
Do any of you have any tips to managing Object Data? -

what i do is to copy the objdata folder somewhere when rct2 has just installed so there are only the "original" objects in objdata. after having fewed a few parks i remove objdata and replace it with the one i saved to restore the original objects. -

from there, figure out a system for naming conventions that make sense/are easily understood, and alter the file to match. Have a seperate folder hierarchy that is outside of your rct folder to copy into the objdat folder when you need them. This is what I did when I was working on GCC. -

I just know from every datname what it is cause the naming is logic.
else you can use a program like datpreview 2c
