Am I wrong, or do 70% of your buildings have orange roofs?
I don't like the white big windows on the yellow house.

the roof looks lovely, but im not sure about the yellow walls.

Thanks, and I'm sure about the yellow walls. ;)

    That's a coincidence.

    Copenhagen
    Bologna

I don't like the white big windows on the yellow house.

I understand. I'll look for solutions!

I really like that screen. The vibrant colours are refreshing. And the path works well.

Thank you Xophe. I like your screens too!

    Here's another update.

The Nyhavn is done for about 33% now, which is a lot since I just started it yesterday. There will be improvements, but on the whole I'm very content already!

The umbrellas' positions will change, and the glass windshields before the courtyard will be totally redone. They suck too hard.

I'm including rides in this park too, to show that here's a screen of the Hans Christian Andersen darkride featuring scenes from the fairytales he wrote.

(I just noticed I forgot some pink objects)

Finally, I have a schematic overview of the park and it's layout. The idea behind this park is to unite five old cities in a themepark setting (or a themepark in an old cities setting, whatever sounds best to you). The transitions between the different areas will be very peaceful. Lots of landscaping, very little architecture and few rides. This is the reason why the areas look quite big on the overview, especially Knossos because it contains a relatively big amount of water. Also, Knossos is a bit of an outsider between the other themes/cities. Both in the theme itself and the quantity. The last thing can be fixed and will be fixed over time.

The whole project is about 40% done, and the most activity takes place in Copenhagen and Bologna.

I hadn't work on this park until recently. I started with removing half of downtown Bologna and the ball got rolling again at a good pace!

Bologna slowed down because I was running out of inspiration. The most recent additions were very suck so that wasn't motivating either. Now, I seem to have reinvented the theme! Suddenly I have a lot more ideas, I needed those to continue.

This church is home to some indoor ride. The entrance is in another building that needs to be redone, though.

This ride is slightly based on Orto Botanico di Padova, a botanical garden I visited last year in Padua. It's the oldest still existing botanical garden in the world and, just like my botanical garden, it features a palm from 1585, also known as the 'Goethe Palm'.

It needs more weird plants and the bridge has to be lowered.

And a bonus-screen: Knossos during the renovation. :p

This park definitely won't be finished in 2009, but there's a chance that it might happen in 2010! I'm at 40-50% now, the mapsize is 140x140.

    Hope you like it!

Great screens. I'd give the waterfall near the car ride the water color instead of white tough.

The church looks awesome, but I dont like the roof colour, maybe black?

Botanical Garden is nice, sweet atmosphere.
Maybe you can add a fountain or so.

And the last picture looks good, too, I like your architecture there. ;)

The church seems a bit plain looking, it needs a bit more detailing.

The botanical garden is a nice touch, but as you said, it needs more exotic plants.

The last screen just isnt that great, something seems to be missing but I don't know what it is :p

I'm very happy to see this moving again. Screens look very pretty. Good luck on finishing!

As nice as the rest of the park is, you'd probably be better off with the in-game supports than those customs.

Looks awesome Liampie. Can't wait to see this finished.

I like screen 1, nice architecture!

Screen 2 and 3 look a bit outdated, and not the usual Liampie quality imo.. Are they still unfinished or are you planning to revamp/update it?

I'm not sure yet about the watercolours. White or blue throughout the park? Will decide when the park is finished.

Glad you like the church, but no way I'm changing the roof colour. :p

I don't think a fountain fits, but I'm planning to put some huge retarded waterlilys in the water.

    Thanks!

I just noticed I forgot some details. I have to do some research to italian-church-roofs from the renaissance (no joke) to see if there are interesting things there I could recreate here. It's too plain now indeed.

The last screen is missing my new style I think. Most of it is done in July 2008, and only a few things somewhere in this spring. I wanted to keep loyal to my old style there.

    Thanks.

If I learn to use the nowadays common B&M supports, I will redo the coaster. Otherwise, I'll keep these. Sorry you don't like them.

    Thanks.

It's true screen 3 is outdated, but actually screen 2 is the exactly latest RCT I've done. :p

Screen 2 will be improved over time. As I already mentioned, the collection of plants will change. The Goethe Palm's cover will be improved also (I'm not happy with especially the base), and I haven't done anything with the paths yet. I'm planning to put a flowershop in that area.

Screen 3 won't change too much. I'll try to find some modern Liampie-style details to put in there, though.
