I've been playing around with a velodrome ride in Loopy Landscapes.
In case you don't know, a velodrome is one of these:
I've built the track out of 2 circuits of banked wooden rollercoaster track. I then built a motorbike coaster over the top of the inside lane and used codex to lower it down to 1m above the wooden track. I set all the track to lift mode, and set the lift speed at 30mph, then set the ride to race mode (with hundreds of laps). So now I've got 4 motorbikes (they look more like bicycles than pedal monorail cars) whizzing around the track at 30 mph. (What I wanted!)
I then cloned the station pieces to normal track and sunk the ride entrance and exit.
The problem is, when the bikes complete the set number of laps, they are no longer powered along the track, and with no station to stop in, they just roll around untill they stop. The ride cannot be restarted as there is no longer any station, you just get an error trapper.
Also, when I lower the motorbike track into the wooden track, I get an error trapper when I start the ride. This happens even if I still have the station pieces.
Any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated! And by the way, I know it doesn't look very good, I just want to see if it can work. -

If you want to hide the coaster track the cars run on just change the track type to crooked house mode in the codex ride editor. It'll make the track as well as the station disappear but the vehicles will still function. Also, instead of sinking the entrance and exit, change them in the memory editor to a path or scenery piece and just delete it. The ride will still function and you are unable to see the entrance and exit.
That may also solve your roll around until they stop problem since the track would actually have a station that it can enter. I'm not 100% sure on that though.
