^ The main thing that we are looking for is that it flows. I know that is a cheap and easy explination however that really is what we are looking for. As for inversions, I would keep it to no more than 7 and have two trains. The land is flat right now however we will be adding some hills here and there based on the coaster layout.

    Hope this helps and thanks

There is another group of folks that can create thinks from nothing such as Xcoaster, Kumba (when he's on his meds ;) ) and cBass.

Thanks to those damn meds I can't feel some of my toes anymore... fucking side effects...

The park is looking as good as ever.

Are you looking for certain real influences in this design? Kraken? Medusa? Dominator? Wildfire?
  • CedarPoint6%s's Photo
Doesn't have to be a straight recreation or anything, but realism will greatly improve your chances in getting your ride picked.
  • Maverick%s's Photo
I figured as much. Was trying to get a hint as to what "form" of realism would be preferred. Personally I like the Kraken-esque layouts in RCT... So I'll probably do something along those lines.

I think he was referring to Silhoutte where the pacing was terrible?

James, it's nice to see that you guys are continuing this project.

About the screen, I love the elevation change. That's one area that you really excel at.

I know that's not much of a comment, but whatever.... it's from the heart. I've been away from the game for so long, that's all I can really offer. :)

I think he was being a dick.

    thats better.

RCTNW your work never ceases to amaze me, whether its massive stadium seating or a park entrance your style is so refreshing.

    Thanks everyone.

Work continues and the first coaster is in place called "The King" which is located in the "Champions" area.

As for the coasters submitted, we are still looking into them and should have our decision soon.

    Thanks

not thrilled on the colors though.

    UNBELIEVABLE!!

Who knew a simple RFF could look so good??

Keep it up James (my third favorite "J"-name btw)!!
  • RCTNW%s's Photo
Nokia - Not sure if your a NASCAR fan or not however the colors do serve a purpose on this one. "The King" refers to Richard Petty who along with Dale Earnhardt is a 7 time cup champion. Below is a picture of one of the cars he drove and although the rct color options are limited, this is about as close as I can get to it.

I haven't seen anything that looks to be CedarPoint6-made. It all looks just like more of RCTNW's work.
Has he done a lot in these screens?

^ - To be honest, these are all mine right now. Don't worry though, CP will be working on it soon.
