Sorry, I didn't realize I was being annoying by commenting on the park.
I won't do it anymore.
Sorry for ****ing up your topic, James. -

The letters give off a nice vibe, and the yellow on the ticket buildings help break up the the grey tones. A+!!! Can't wait for this one to get a spotlight.Edited by Xin, 27 August 2008 - 08:06 PM.

I'd love to see something about the Milwaukee Mile, a store or something.Edited by Sim-ple, 27 August 2008 - 10:55 PM.

Gwazi - No need to worry about that. There are two elevators to the left of this SS for our special guests. Thanks
Nokia - I can understand where you are coming from as it does have that similar look however as I have stated before, it's to help keep the continuity of the parks.
Xin - I think you might be jumping the gun with the spotlight talk. We've only shown one SS of the park. Thanks though!
Sim-ple - Does the MM still host a truck race each year?
Thanks -

This looks like it's off to a great start! You have the perfect balance between the large scale overall picture and the small scale details like the checkered posts holding the gates. And you make mowed grass look so good! -

Thanks Xophe. That is one of my main goals with any of my project. I would love to go to the ubber detail levels that say trav, Iceman, CP6, gee seem to go to however I'm afraid that nothing would ever get finished. I am playing with 1/4 and 1/8 tile objects a bit more however the balance is more important to me.
Glad you liked it as this is perhaps my favorite entrance plaza I have built.
As for the park, progress is still being made and I hope to get a significant piece added this weekend before sending it off to CP6.

Yes you! There are those that just throw out objects on a map so that it looks detailed. Then there are those, like the four of you (to mention a few others 5Dave, Turtle). In most cases, those that just throw out objects don't have the refinement that you guys do. Perhaps Uber Detail is not the right word..... how about "Sophisticated Detail". There is a HUGE difference in my definition.
There is another group of folks that can create thinks from nothing such as Xcoaster, Kumba (when he's on his meds ) and cBass.
That said, thanks and I will

Uh, guys I think Uber is with just one "b."
Other than that, Go James Go, make this "fucking megapark" and blow the minds of us all again. -

Sim-ple - Does the MM still host a truck race each year?
Sorry to get back to you so late, but yes. It hosts Indy (6/1), Craftsman (6/20) and Nationwide (6/21) races.
It is America's legendary oval afterall. -

^ - I thought so. In short, yes, there will be some sort of reference
Small update (no SS’s, sorry)
The park is moving along and the coaster selection process is finished. The next step is to get the major attractions in place. One of the significant changes to the park concept is that not all coasters will be racing/dueling. We decided that each area (there are 4) will consist of one racing/dueling coaster however other coasters in these area will not. This will allow us to add some additional coasters to be placed in the park. That said and in talking with CP6, we have decided to open up a guest spot however the spot is to build a B&M Floorless coaster. Themeing and support work will be completed by CP6 or myself however, if you are interested in building just the coaster for the park, please let us know. Details below
When needed – 9/19/08
Style – B&M Floorless
Area footprint – 50x60
Although not required for this particular coaster, if you want to submit a racing/dueling floorless coaster, go right ahead.
Once we have reviewed the submissions, we will make a decision if we will be using it or not. If we do select one of the coasters, we will be sure to include the designer in the process as the park moves along.
In short, if you enjoy building raw layouts and interested in submitting a coaster for consideration, now’s your chance
You can submit the coaster layouts to rctnw@wavecable.com
Thanks
