I dunno if I can give a top 5, but I'll just list 5 that are really good:
-Shawshank Redemption
-Lord of the Rings (I consider it one movie as it's one story)
-Pirates of the Carribean (all 3)
-The Matrix (again all 3)
-hell, all three again Indiana Jones Trilogy
Yeah not a lot of depth in most of them (not that I have anything against that), but I like movies with a good art direction. SR is one of the best movies ever. In the IMDb it rates as the 2nd best movie of alltime created and with reason.

National Treasure series - Perfect blend of history, mystery and comedy. My three fav things in movies.
Shawshank Redemption - Most awesome ending ever. I did not think it was possible to grin uncontrollably when a man blows his brains out, but I did.
Lord of the Rings series - Just amazing, tho the ending was not a surprise in any way.
Naked Gun series - Funniest movies ever
Borat - Funniest single movie ever -

Oh god. There Will Be Blood, Pulp Fiction, Children of Men, V for Vendetta, and Hot Fuzz. Just what I could come up with off the top of my head. If I thought harder, I'd probably come up with different results.Edited by tracidEdge, 25 February 2008 - 11:12 PM.

^ Ha ha for the most part. I just loved how that movie started out so serious and slow. Then after you get to know all of the characters it stays serious but with the stupidest shit happening. It was a great movie. Shawn (Sean?) of the dead was real funny too. They're good funny actors. You guys over there enjoy the British humour?

I heard be kind rewind pretty much sucks, just fyi. Like they show all the good parts during the trailer and the rest is p mediocre.
