This is getting better with every screen. I love the details everywhere, you don't see that often on such a big map.

The Haunting of Rose Mansion is so nice. The picture has a really spooky atmosphere. Vo much little details. Very nice.

After a dry patch with park making I'm building a lot on this and I have found some cool new ideas to execute. The park is now over 80% with a hopeful release at the beginning of the New Year. Thanks to all for your support so far! This is going to be a park to remember I promise you.

The Haunting of Rose Mansion

The mansion has been quiet for a while. We once thought no one lived there. It did receive a call for a doctor to visit a lady there. Nothing has been discovered concerning her illness but I'm sure the doctors will get back to us soon.



The Haunting of Rose Mansion subjects guests to a mansion dark ride encountering the occupants of the house. Guests have been known to come out in utter silence so feedback is limited for the experience of the ride.

In this screen you can see the mansion itself with an ambulance nearby with actors worrying guests around the area. This gets guests on the edge of their seats before they even enter the ride! Also is a photo shop and video stand so guests can see themselves after this experience. There is also a swing in the mansion garden for the more scared guests to play on.

The windows look wierd at the moment but thats only because they flash. Its much better in game.

I mean... that has to be one of the most complete screens I've ever seen. There's nothing that's really missing. It's just SO good.

I really like the atmosphere in this screenshot. The building looks a little bit like the Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris but otherwise it's his own style. Great work!

This park is shaping up to be brilliant! I love the ambulance, but even more, I love the lightning bolt hitting the top of the mansion. Excellent attention to detail, keep it coming!

Heh, wow. Actually it's not the building that stuns me the most, it's the surroundings. Perfect. Just one thing, have you tried 1/8 wooden blocks instead of the regular 1/8 blocks? Just to add a little texture.

Nice screen man..
Here's my constructive criticism
- The white railing on the queue line really stands out in a bad way imo.. Maybe change it with a custom path type to create a better flow..
- The ambulance looks a bit bulky, maybe delete the right half to make it look thinner and more aesthetically pleasing..
- The path edges still irk me (probably a pet peeve though )

Really looks good. The lightning is alright, just the top part does not look right, try making it thicker and slanted. Oh and that ambulance is badass

FullMetal - I love how you described it not to have a realistic feel but it actually does. I always try for Fantasy ideas but then set them in a realistic atmosphere to want to make guests visit my park. I'm glad you've caught on to that.
I didn't base the mansion off it though I'm glad it reminds you of it lol. Also KH and nerd should not be in the same sentence as KH is nothing but cool. Lol Thanks a lot for your reply.

rK - Thanks, a lot of work went into the mansion and a lot of tweaking had to be done to get it right but I really like it now. As I said the windows flash so it will be better in game but glad its been represented well in this screen.

Zburns999 - Thats really good to hear! Hopefully it will be one of the coolest parks your'll have seen as well

Louis - Yeah it took a bit of tweaking to get to where I want it but I am happy with it. If I were to build this again I'd go more traditional and detailed with the top of the mansion but I'm also happy with this version. Glad you like the screen other than that and also thanks for your constant feedback!

BelgianGuy - Ding ding ding! We have a winner. That's Lycan, the parks B&M flyer. One of my favourite layouts I've ever done.

Liampie - Well thats my goal with this park, aesthetically pleasing, my imagination combined with details everywhere! I'm glad you think the screens are getting better.

Teeze - I'm glad you think I've nailed the atmosphere because I really want to get that across. It's quite difficult but it's going well so far!

SSSammy - Thanks mate thats really great to hear especially because you've seen this screen a few times so I'm glad it's improved.

Casimir - I've gone with my own building this year but I have asked for guestspots to help me with some tough hacks or for tweaking on a layout and stuff. I do have two very good friends in mind for the work so far and they have already said yes so while the park is at 80% I'm gonna say no. What happened to our park anyway?

Colorado fan - Yeah glad you recognised the atmosphere. As I said above I've worked hard on it so I'm glad it's paying off. I've rode phantom manor when I was a kid but this structure was mostly my imagination. I'm glad you can see my style in such an iconic ride though. Thanks

DanMack - Yeah I think the next update will be a lot sooner to be honest as I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Glad you like the progression of this park so far, I'm really proud of it.

Splitvision - yeah I already have a few textures atm so I think another would confuse the screen slightly. I did try wood at one point but I liked the brick more. I agree with the surroundings though that they boost this building.

Six Frags - While our tastes of path edges vary I agree with your other points. Good shout on that que line as the white does really stick out on the railings. The ambulance however is gonna stay like that only because I tried a smaller version out like you said and while it was realistic it didn't have any impact so I'm gonna leave it like that. Maybe a few more screens coming your way very soon!

Inversed - Yeah I kinda have really held out on the coasters till the release, just because their the essence of the park and I really didn't wanna give them a way. I have promised a coaster shot though for a lot of people so one will be on it's way.

JDP - It's one of the parks best. Just waiting to theme it right and give it the impact it deserves. Congrats on Hutchinson though! Three silvers is a massive achievement.

Kumba - Thanks I didn't add the ghost as I really couldn't make one without be really bad so that annoyed me but I stuck with the lightning bolt and it worked out ok.

In:Citties - I always try to add tiny details so you don't get it the first time. This is a great example of that. Camouflaged park making

Louis - Yeah I'm surprised I haven't been banned yet! Lol that said the coasters that are in my park are themed well and they add a lot of thrills.
