I don't want to sound insensitive, but was Dark Knight done filming?
This is pretty sad either way.Edited by zburns999, 22 January 2008 - 04:46 PM.

As sad as this is, it kind of disgusts me how much it has overshadowed in the news the fact that we (the US) just about went into a depression or "recession" today. Sorry for shitting on everyones parade though. -

Also Camcorder please do not use the R word you will scare off potential investors. -

That's the US goverment's way of trying to hide the problems. If American people hear that there's a recession they'll stop spending lots of money, which would lead to the total collapse of the American economic system. As sad as this is, it kind of disgusts me how much it has overshadowed in the news the fact that we (the US) just about went into a depression or "recession" today. He was on his way to Oscar victory, with the Joker. Really, really unfortunate to see him go. They are saying accidental OD on his own prescription medication was the cause of death. Along with being severely ill at the time. -

My first inclination was that it had something to do with playing the Joker. I heard he had trouble sleeping while playing the role, perhaps he got too far in-character. But going from what Steve said that doesn't seem to be the case, and either way it's a tragedy for anyone to die at such a young age. -

A really cynical person - not me, of course, never me - might suggest that the media and the public picked up on this story because this is what people are interested in. Personal tragedy, not economic gloom. Everyone's a rubbernecker. -

The really great thing about the information age is that there's so much information that you can spend your entire life ignoring all the information you don't like, that might challenge you, or are otherwise uninterested in.
I think it's awesome personally!!Edited by catachresistant, 23 January 2008 - 03:54 PM.

Yes., damn Americans for being compassionate and emotional rather than getting worked up over materialistic values!
