Indeed...Thierry who..
Anyone see the Ronaldo free kick last night? My god, I can't stand the guy but bloody hell that was a free kick.
Oh, and in other news...
....Portsmouth sign Jermaine Defoe for 9million
....haha -

Oh man that free kick was something else, the man is a genius. (As much as it pains me to say it).
And has Defoe actually moved yet? I thought it was all still pending. I'll be glued to Sky Sports News tonight -

He did go and a good business move for Spurs, getting money out of him. He would've been a free transfer in the summer I believe. -

On the contrary, i actually think he's a good player.
What's the deal with this Benjani transfer though? Apparently the FA are looking at the paperwork and the transfer might still go through?
Could be quite controversial. -

Yeh apparently when Pompy got the news that Man City had signed Benjani they immediatly used the 'money' from the sale to buy Defoe. Only to find out that the signing of Benjani didn't go through because he apparantly failed fitness test, or something like that.
So basically Pompy have signed Defoe with money they never recieved for Benjani.
Crazy, but I'm sure it'll sort itself out. Why you would swap a player like Benjani for Defoe I have no idea..Edited by Marshy, 02 February 2008 - 02:59 AM.

Aaaaaand what an embarrasing performance by Arsenal.
*Hangs head in shame*
The most annoying this is that alot of my friends support Man U, and I'm always gloating that they won't beat us.. -

Eboue was invisible...it didn't even matter when he got sent off, cause he didn't do anything anyways. I understand that we have Milan on wednesday...but this was just embarrasing... -

Better show today, Gooners. Although you really should have won.
And Eboue is really crap.
Heroic performance as well by Celtic, I would've liked to see them pull an upset. Ah well. -

Oh God, Eduardo's leg break is absolutely horrific. He'll be lucky not to lose his leg.
Poor bastard.

Yeh I know, they say that the only thing that kept his foot connected to the rest of his body was his sock and part of his skin. I've seen pictures of the injury after that tackle, but not the video, which is why I don't want to click on the above link..if thats the 'real' angle of the tackle..
