are you allowed to put a read me in the file because I suspect my round 3 entry needs an readme.
I wont put my name in it but often you can see in the file properties who made it.

Although I'll let Kumba have he official word however, Yes a read me file is fine.

We are not going to go digging to see who made the park. We are asking that you don't have any staffor rides with your name (unless you place other MM finalists names in there also), no welcome message as to who made it, the park/zip file name generic and the readme file without your name on it.

Although I don't care one way or the other, we are asking that you all keep it anonymous.

I got a good question today and after bringing it before the judges... you can put in an object not on any of the 4 benches if it is an original RCT2 object that comes with the game. Basically Non-Custom scenery objects.

^ I actually already did that on my rd 2 entry, so it better be legal

Just to let you know, I don't know if you got my pm, Kumba.

The official bracket has a mistake. You have the top two divisions playing each other for the final four, and the bottom two divisions playing for the final four.
As apposed to both left divisions playing for the final four, and both right divisions playing for the final four.
That messes up the championship a lot.

I know, but seeing as darkfire will need to fix it I decided to let him handle the awards polls first. I'll send him a PM to remind him about this. It should be the left side playing the left and the right playing the right, not top vs. top and bottom vs. bottom.

Welp, I already PM'ed Kumba, but unfortunately, I had to forfeit. After a large number of terrible problems, I won't be playing RCT for a long while. Ugh. It sucks having to suddenly quit after playing the game for so many years. It's too long to explain, but it involves Windows and Mac not playing nice together.

Sooo, I'm glad I got some kind words after releasing my first park (even though it was a micro...) and I hope to be back in the future.

It is sad to see you go. I know alot of people were pulling for you (I was a bit annoyed they were so open about that when talking to me, lol...). If you switching to Mac I see no other outcome tho.

I really liked both your entires and as you know was bringing my A-Game vs. you. I really respect you for letting me know about this, otherwise my entry could have been wasted in a sense. I hope somehow you end up making more stuff in RCT, but if not you really did go out on-top.

I went to the judges to see how exactly to resolve this, so more info on what I do later. I have not won just yet.

Windows and Mac not playing nice together

Haha, yeah, my Windows Vista is quite inferior to my Mac OS. The other thing I've noticed while playing RCT on my Windows Vista on my Mac is that the 8cars trainer works only like half the time. Sometimes, I'll open it and it won't recognize that there's an RCT game open, and other times I'll zero clearances, only to find that I can't restore them later because the trainer effectively stopped working.

It's annoying, because sometimes, the only way to "fix" this is to restart Windows, and that takes at least three times longer than just booting up Mac OS (which I am used to now).

Yeah, I've been officially converted to Apple.

I got this entry i sort of lost inspiration for. I hope that i can still find some time to touch it up, but doubt it will happen today or tommorrow. The day after i could probably finish up..

@ Corkscrewed -> did you disabled the UAC?
I dont have this error with version 1.302, I do have it with 1.32 but I had that problem with XP already also with that version

This means there must be no way for anyone to know for a fact you made the entry. So no putting your name in the park, on the .zip/.rar or in a separate file you include (like a read me). Failure to follow this rule will result in a penalty.

I started my entry yesterday and it's like 20% and after a good hour should be finished, but not crap

Just deleted a post by someone who said they sent theirs. The judges have asked that you guys do not say stuff is sent. I will let you know if it was received.

Damn, how do you guys work so fast? I've worked on mine since right after Christmas and still arent dont. Hopefully it will turn out well though.

I saw that comment, not saying who it was from. I was about to send a comment saying "(insert name), it's not anonymous if the judges know whose has been sent in, because they would know the times they were sent in", but then realized that would just be another comment that would need deleted.
