I love Bleach. I mean, I really love Bleach. Not the stuff that drains the color out of your clothes, I'm talking about the TV show. [adult swim] hasn't shown any new Bleach episodes in a couple of weeks, and I checked my local listings for this week, and there's still no Bleach. Does anyone know what happened? If I don't see some new Bleach episodes soon, I think I'm going to die!

And yes, I would consider this an unhealthy obsession too.

I like the bleach that destroys my clothes.

I don't usually wish cancellation upon TV shows I know nothing about, but in this case...

No, Bleach is way to popular in Japan to be cancelled. And I've heard that [adult swim] has invested a lot of money on the show due to it's success.

just another in a long series of formulaic shounen anime with zero depth and zero substance.

ichigo is probably the least cliched character on the show, which sounds like a good thing, but every other character is really just that one dimensional that it makes him look ENIGMATIC AND DEEP in comparison.

Yeah, I saw a few episodes of the show, didn't much care for it.

Then again, I don't especially like Naruto either.

I didn't make it past the intro of the first episode.

My sister watches that, I couldn't care less. Neon Genesis Evangelion is the only anime series I actually bothered to follow, and even that I missed TONS of episodes and ended up finishing the damn thing via YouTube back before all the regulations kicked it.

Yer right, it tries way too hard.

But it does touch on some things that are genuine and thought provoking, unlike lets say... naruto/bleach/etc.

Futurama & Family Guy are better anyway imo.

Death Note is deep too. That show I like too. Capital punishment makes for a really good anime show. If you wnat an emotional show, go with Fullmetal Alchemist. Some parts made me cry, and that's not something I do often.

And yes, Blitz, Bleach is a little cliche. But that's what makes it interesting, IMO. You know what's going to happen. The fun part is trying to figure out how it's going to happen. And Zangetsu is fuckin' awesome.
