Nice.
How is All I Need as an opener? I can honestly say I never saw that coming. I'm wondering if they are going to play new material on the tour, like they've hinted...Can't wait to see them in August! -

I'm surprised they haven't been playing Jigsaw at all, lately. Especially considering it was their first single from the new album.
posit; I am going in August! Strange that they are going across the country in the same month. So much for being environmentally friendly.
ps I am praying for Let Down but I know I won't get it. -

Yes, me too. That is my favorite song! But it is sad that Ed doesn't sing with Thom during the bridge/outro when they play it live. If they get it together, that would be awesome, but whatever. My only preferences are not too much In Rainbows and no Everything In Its Right Place! I don't think they'll listen to me.
Not so surprised at Jigsaw. They didn't play it that much in 2006 and Ed said they all agreed it was the weakest track on In Rainbows and that the band almost left it off. -

all i need was a really strange song to open with, but i think it actually was quite a good place, right before there there. -

I looked around in the live part of atease the other day... I was sickened with the use of first names, pit tactics, and complaining over an sg versus a tele. It's one band, albeit a really good one, but it's just one band. You guys are worse than Dave Matthews Band fans.
Still pumped though.

Planet Telex!!!
That's a great set. Idioteque as a closer, eh? That sounds interesting. How is Optimistic? I haven't been impressed with it in the BBC performance or the VH1 performance, though that was a bit better. -

At this point in their career I don't think Radiohead is capable of a bad set...
So long as they don't suddenly decide to play all of Pablo Honey or something; but reality is that's not going to happen (thank god).
Anyway curse you all for seeing them already; I have to wait until August first...

when i saw them, my iron lung was by far the best song they did. really enjoyed the gloaming too. was spectacular, but those stood out the most to me. -

I too, saw them. Lollapalooza, from the right side of the stage.
It took until There There (3rd song in the set) for it to sink in what I was seeing. The sound was so good, the band so tight, and the number of live performances I've watched on video so many that it seemed almost surreal. Though Thom seemed to share that thought when during the first encore he asked if there was anyone out there because the crowd (of 75,000 mind you) was nearly silent after the initial roar/applause after each song (and singing along, though I'm not sure how audible that was on stage).
Fucking excellent show though. Really brought back my creative energies... Rage, Okkervil River, Nicole Atkins, Gnarls Barkley, MGMT and several others also put on mind-numbingly good shows. Nothing quite like Daft Punk last year, but nothing as sleepy and rambling as Pearl Jam's set, or as bitter as Muse's (they were pissy about the sound on stage) either (thankfully).
