I have a suggestion... You know the search at the top... I think it would be a good idea that when you clicked on it. It would clear the text that is there as in search forum....... Cos right now you have to delete it... Which is kind of a pain and kind of ruins the whole point in the quick search

So anyway. The colors and fonts and such are very stale and cold and bland. Like an office park, or something. I probably should have offered my criticisms in the NE3 development forum, but I was busy leaking top secret info to the NE last.fm group.

I don't like it.

To the people who are making comments like the above, please have some respect. A lot of people put a lot of work into this and although you don't like what you don't like you don't need to say it like that.

Offer some critiques, say what about it you don't like. We can still fix things and make changes here or there, just like we already did with the placement of forum signatures.

Don't just say "I don't like it." and leave it at that.

Furthermore, congratulations to everyone involved on finishing this. I can still remember iris' first mentioning considering v3 back in early '04. Huge thanks to darkfire for doing everything we needed to finally pull it through.

Just wondering but i keep updating my sig trying to refresh it but most of it is cut off. It's kinda important because that's all the links to my past work which is easier to find then going through the forums.

Signatures are supposed to be no taller than 100 pixels, although the Ministry of Prettiness forum with the guidelines in was deleted along time ago so I guess no one can be expected to know that.
You can write about your parks in the about part of your profile, in your parks tab or make your signature smaller.

There will be a topic to discuss likes and dislikes of NE3 once everyone has had a chance to let everything sink in. We can finalize on sig and avatar sizes then.


Thanks for the feedback everyone. If I'm honest, I was expecting a lot of replies to be ill-thought-out and a fair few to be completely moronic. But most seem to be very reasoned, thanks and I'm sorry for doubting so many of you .

The AD is back the way it was before, a lot of people don't seem to understand how it would have worked now and Kumba doesn't want everyone's parks on the main site (although it would have been nice if he'd said that in the workshop before I made it all ).

I'll write new profile tabs to show the topics from the AD forum soon.

The AD Tab would be really nice! Cause that was the only thing I really loved at the new ADs, that you can see what someone is advertising at the moment.

The forum has finally sunk in and I love it.

Really this has been such an improvement and my interest in this site is at a high now. Also, thanks for accepting the complaints about the AD, and re doing it. It's good to know the person who seems to be most in charge of transforming the site into NE3 is capable of taking feedback.
I imagine it's going to get even better from here.

The new layout looks complicated for me... But heh, all that new rct stuff coming out is great!

Ah ok thanks Darkfire. I did'nt mean that to sound rude or anything. Thats pretty cool how we can now add it to or profiles.

We should make a blue version of this Vanilla skin and make that the NE3 alternate skin.

(j/p I'm not a fan of the restricted width of the official ne3 skin, so I'll stick to Vanilla, which is nice and purdy and simple.

BTW, I cannot stress enough how frickin' cool the enlarged screens on the Spotlight pages (at least he newest ones; haven't checked if all the Spotlights have been updated this way) are. Click the thumbnail and a pop-in screen shows up showing the enlarged picture. VERY, VERY sleek!

I'm trying out the new forum skin now. It's actually a nice change, though I might eventually switch back. And I checked out the movie section today. That's a really nice addition. I'd never seen Levis' Playboy park before either, so that was amusing/disturbing.
