Just switch your skin back to NE2 if you want. That one is definitely easier to read.

The new forum layout is absolutely retarded. I changed it to the older one, but the other one is SO confusing.

I can only congratulate you to such a beautiful page!
I was running wild when I opened NE and saw the new design, and then realised there's a new spotlight, and a new design, and damn...such a busy day.
I think the best feature is the Blockbusters (aka Super Runner-Up), they just went down between all the Runner-Ups on the old page.

Finally, I think I can post more often in the future. As now I can post something using my normal browser (I used to use that lousy Firefox Browser...)

yeah, i switched it too. but good job getting it done. earlier today i thought ne had just died or something.

have to admit I don't like the new forum layout but luckily that was easily fixed by switching... the rest is fucking awesome though

And I love the new design .. only the forum is not as perfect as the design is .. but it's ok ..

Are all the old threads from the ad gone?

Everyone also has new profiles (which are probably all blank now). These are more RCT related, they show your AD updates and you can list all your parks (see mine).

There are a few known issues. Members with certain special characters in their name can't edit their profile, if this affects you then ask me to remove them for you, this only affects the name you log in with and not your display name. In IE7 a few things get messed up when you move the mouse around, the parks tab in the profile and usernames on the forums. I'm not sure what the problem is there exactly. The forum descriptions don't work well in Safari and Konqueror. Of course there will probably be a few other teething problems too.

I'd recommend you keep a copy of the text you're submitting when adding a park to your profile in case it doesn't work.

There are 3 forum skins. One that matches the main site, one that looks a lot like the old one (this one actually works) and a black and white one. Use which ever you prefer.

Creepy, right after Tom (darkfire) flipped the switch and NE3 went public there was repeated claps of lightning and car alarms starting going off. So I look out the window and there no rain at all and the sun is shining :' />

So then boom, my house gets one and my PC goes off. Sorry to the 2,987 people I was talking to at the time.

Tom anything like that happen to you? Perhaps a cloud of locust? God's clearly saying "You were never supposed to finish it!"



Amazing work, I gave all props to Tom even if myself and quite a few others did quite a bit Tom did the vast majority of it.

Also I am not that fond of the new forums either, but thats why Tom left the NE2 (Old School) skin down at the bottom.

Still some work to do, id say NE3 is only 98% done, still a bit of page editing to do and NE Parkmaker page updates seems like a endless task... We just decided to put everything up today coz we both had nothing else to do

i honestly like the new forum skins too. everything is perfect. great work!

We better get started on NE4 now, so it would be finished arround 2011.
