Is there a way to make the train ride backwards. Like having a b&m with trains going backwards.

    how?

Ah... Well now that you ask the actual question at hand the answer is a little more difficult.

I know how to get the train backwards... The problem is that I'm not sure if it'll stop in the station or not. Otherwise I know it's do-able.

You build a ride that goes out of the station (forwards) and up a hill (with no lift) and thus will stall out and roll backwards. Then you merge the track that goes backwards onto the ride you want to run "backwards". In fact these could both be the same ride. The problem is that I'm almost completely sure that it won't stop in the station...

I could go into more detail but I'd rather leave it to a real expert.

you'd have to turn it around at the end of the ride.

just had a complete blank moment. help me recall-
does a coaster merged onto a second track stop at stations on second track? i think yes. what about backwards?
in that case all you'd have to do would be to hide the first station and the merge point and no one would ever be the wiser.
    probably couldn't get ratings though.

if I'm right (haven't tested it yet) if the coaster comes backwards into a station wich is build in the good direction the cars will go into the station but than leave it again forward.
so turning it at the end would be the best solution.
unless you want to use chains because if you car runs backwards those will work as brake instead of chain (and the brakes works as brakes to).
