You seem to be building Japanese style architechture.... in a China area...

    Asia-Area... :D
  • disneylhand%s's Photo
Foliage looks kind of.. grungy. And I don't care for the alternating of the path from crazy to tarmac as it declines. I'm interested in seeing the rest of the area, though.

Aren't we just allowed to show only one screen?

    "MFG"
  • Kumba%s's Photo
Yeah, looks like he deleted the other tho... I'll just look the other way this time...
  • DelLagos%s's Photo
I forgot that I´m allowed for only one screen, but RCFanB&M send me a PN and reminded me of this rule.
So I deleted the first screen because this is bigger and better...

Nice Screen DelLagos! its got a nice feel to it. the buidling defintley help give off an asian feel. my argument with the archy though is that you might be getting too random, or not really random but having too many elements. in that one buidling youve got wodden walls and stone walls and brick walls, and brick outlining, and wodden supports and castle fringings and 3 different types of windows! i think your buidlings could much better display a theme if they had less extensive elements an more well placed repetitions. by using the brick deco blocks for the whole piece or using only 2 tops type of windows, but using more of them or detailing in similar styles but with patterns you can bring a sense of unity to the building that will help depict a theme. the foliage is okay, but without the buidlings i really wouldnt get an asia feel. also i dislike the scattered barrels. i used to do that but now it seems kinda random. if you have a buidling or something that gives the barrels an origin it helps greatly. you have a nice scene but i feel there is defintly room for improvement!

Don't be a dirty fucking racist. The Chinese and Japanese are two completely different cultures.

    Why I am a racist?
    I´m not a racist!!!

    I like both nations.
So I can build a asian-area with both styles!
(The Chinese have buildings like the Japanese, too!)
  • Fisch%s's Photo
Germans have got Chinese restaurants with Chinese architecture, too, so the point that there is some Japanese architecture in China has absolutely nothing to say.
What tracid means is that every nation is individual and only because they're both Asian nations that doesn't mean that they have the same architecture.
It may look nearly the same but it's still different and what you built there really is japanese architecture.

Don't be that pissed at all.
I think it's clear that tracid meant it sarcastic.

ignorance and racism aren't the same thing.. when you're being racist, you're discriminating. When you're discriminating, you know the difference ;P.

    Wooden buildings with green rooves.
Looks like this one will have a very creative theme. ;)

    Looking forward to seeing more.

I'm not sure the pine tree fits in there.
  • Steve%s's Photo
I think the pine tree is fine. I wouldn't use two path types, though; just stick to one. Looks promising otherwise.
    And it's peepable! +1 point!
