You need the 8cars trainer (versions 1.302 or earlier) to lower a ride. Just build the 4D track 20 feet over the chain lift on the ride then go into 8cars, go into Rides, then Edit Ride Stats. Look for the name of the ride you need to lower (the 4d track), then select "Raise/lower", make the height offset "-2", and choose "Main" under color scheme. Press Apply, then go back into the game and the track should be lowered to the same height as the lift. -

chill out and enjoy the game dude, don't worry about other people's standards or opinions of your parks -

Yes, chill out.
I disagree with you about, though, deanosrs. Isn't the point of the Pro Tour, for an example, to impress the judges; which = caring about what they think?
And don't use the fact that this is your first park advertised here as an excuse. I don't understand how you can be confident with a park that seems to be no more than 5 years old 'in-game'. Would you care to explain what your building priorities are? I'd maybe be able to give you some helpful suggestions in that field.

Well disneylhand my prioties are to have all the land around the path elevated one block then put walls thier and make the coastre that way. I also want to have the coaster going through various tunnls but i suck at landscaping.
Also i dont want much trees intefering with the coaster because i dont like rides like that i like wide open ones where you onley se u and the track infront.
If you have any suggestions on how to make it better that would be nice.
P.S. also its not 5 years i keep resettiing the time.

Just took a look at this for the first time. My suggestion is that you replace that turn around over the path with a Cobra Roll, to add some B&M character to it. Then fix up the ending to make it less random, and more thoughtful. -

but he's not in the pro tour is he
deanosrs, what are you trying to say?

exactly. your argument is only relevant to people in the pro tour. unless you are specifically in a competition, other people's opinions should be completely irrelevant. in fact, even if you are, you'll probably end up with a better park as you won't let other people's pending judgements cast any restrictions on your imagination.
@ Billy: my suggestion is you stop, and get a clear image of what you want to see in the game. then, get a clear understanding of the tools at your disposal - objects, rides, trainers, land, etc - the skill of this game once you have a vision is using those tools to recreate your vision as well as possible.Edited by deanosrs, 18 July 2007 - 05:28 AM.

Mmmmm, check out these coasters I made....I think you guys might like them more than Billy's.
........even though Billy's is far more realistic than any of these. -

^Its not my work, but its the work of one of the most beloved parkmakers of all time....and im just baffled as to why people are saying your coaster layout sucks when its really no more extreme or unrealistic than any of the pics I showed. -

Yeah, I think your layout is pretty good Billy. It's not very realistic, and it could maybe flow a little more, but it's a nice layout. The think I don't like about it is that its not themed (though that's more of a personal preference).
